We are from the Philadelphia area and we were in town to visit family. We stayed at the Amerscot House Inn for 2 nights recently. This Inn has been beautifully restored, respecting the history of the building but providing every modern comfort. The room was elegant and comfortable. Everything was perfect, including the large beautifully landscaped yard. The Inn keepers, Vikki and Andrew are a delightful couple, and saw to our every whim. They even cooked our Fiddleheads for us for breakfast (can't get them in our area). We are looking forward to returning to the Inn and to see Vikki and Andrew again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review - we do appreciate it, particularly as it enables others to get a first-hand account of what it is like to stay here. We are very happy that you enjoyed your time with us, we certainly enjoyed meeting you both and are looking forward to seeing you again later this year. Best wishes, Viki.

This was by far the most elegant, yet comfortable B&B we ever stayed in. Our hosts attended to every detail and we felt so genuinely welcomed. We loved the 1700's era ambience with current luxury. Vicki had a perfect way of showing us area activities and restaurants. We had some amazing meals as a result! But their breakfasts were amazing: flavorful and perfectly prepared. We can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: We absolutely recommend the Conant Suite.

I completely agree with all the recent reviews of this B&B, so I'll just add a little more. The couple running Amerscot pay attention to the little details that made our stay perfect: free snacks, sodas, and wine; a guest fridge for us to stash our leftovers in; restaurant recommendations and directions; free wi-fi; books about the local area in our room; custom printed menus every morning and cooking our hot breakfast to order.

The 1734 house has been beautifully restored, with the original wide-plank floors, original staircase, and lots of antique furniture.

Room Tip: We chose the Conant Suite -- it was huge and the bathroom was gorgeous! It was a great value for how...

Perfectly situated for our romantic adventure in Boston this past June , the Amerscot House Inn featured some of the finest in hospitality my husband and I had ever encountered. The 18th century ambience of the inn set the stage for our exploration of the area’s historic landmarks. Gracious hosts, elegant décor, luxurious amenities, and delicious food made our visit both comfortable and memorable. During our three extraordinary nights in the romantic Conant Suite, Viki and Andy overlooked no detail in treating us as honored guests by providing a superlatively comfortable bed, a spacious and comfortably appointed bath stocked with fine linens and soaps, and a cozily furnished sitting room. Five out of five stars!

Amerscot more than lives up to the billing on their website. My parents and I stayed in two different rooms for three nights. A charming and relaxed ambiance is created by a perfect balance of 1734 architecture and every creature comfort from a remodeling a few years ago. Add in reasonable rates and outstanding breakfast and service, and I can't recommend it too highly. Boston is about a 40-minute drive and Concord is I guess about 15 minutes. The inn is charming enough to just relax there for a while as well.

The Amerscot House Inn in Stow far surpassed our expectations. This is no ordinary B&B. It was better than staying at a 5 star hotel. Our room was luxurious, comfortable and appointed with everything you could possibly need. The setting is lovely, across the street from an apple orchard.

Every detail has been thought of - a fully stocked guest refrigerator, fresh snacks, apples, current newspapers and magazines and a suggestion box full of information about local restaurants and things to do. The innkeepers were wonderful, accommodating and unobtrusive.

Room Tip: We booked at the last minute and got the Gardner Room. We weren't expecting it to be amazing bu...

Wow, what a great experience at this b&b. The warmest hosts imaginable, who have really thought of everything to make a stay here, for a night or a week, enjoyable. The rooms all tidy, neat and sparkling, with "old house" ambiance still palpable and pleasant. The cooked to order breakfast delicious and bountiful -- we really hope to visit again.
