For one the much touted wireless internet did not work. In addition, we were forced to stay in the "media free" room. Who told them that travelers enjoy having no television? Couple that with the lack of internet access and the fact that cell phones have no reception in that area and it made for a very, shall we say, isolated night.
Also, while I must admit I was irate when I complained to the General Manager and I may have been too assertive, I have to say that his response was a little rude. And although he did not think I heard him, I certainly did not appreciate him telling the front desk clerk that my turn down service the next evening would include him [-----]on my pillow. Although " was not quite the word he used. But you get the idea. Thankfully I checked out the next day and he did not have the chance to make good on that promise. Just terrible...
