Where do I start.. we arrived on a slow weekend, which was ideal for my fiance and I for a quiet weekend away. Jeff was accommodating with arriving a little late in the evening. The Inn is so cute and is tucked off the main road. Like other reviewers stated don't skip breakfast, by far the best breakfast (and the best bacon) we ever had and it's included! Lisa does an amazing job in the kitchen. We couldn't pass up buying some homemade granola to bring home.
We picked the Rockwell room and it was spacious with a couch, oversized bed, and perfect jacuzzi tub for two. The room also had a porch to enjoy the outside privately. The room was also very clean.
The hospitality we received from Jeff and Lisa was so kind and inviting.
We will definitely be back! Thank you, Jeff and Lisa, for a great relaxing weekend!

Over President's Weekend, we enjoyed our fifth stay in less than two years at The Inn at Stockbridge. Once again, we left wanting to return. This is a first-rate B&B with beautiful rooms, excellent breakfasts and wine/cheese receptions, gorgeous common areas and grounds, and gracious service from hosts Jeff & Lisa, and their team. Inn was fully-booked that weekend, but service at breakfast was as good as ever. We stayed in the Barn building for the first time and our spacious Wharton room had beautiful views of the wooded area in the back with a nice deck that would be ideal in warm weather. Perhaps on our next trip...

All in all a good stay. The highlight is the breakfast, don’t skip it.

We stayed in the second building and our only real complaint was lack of dusting, which we noticed in the main inn also.

The parking area with snow and ice build up is also kind of awkward as it is located on edge of driveway. One morning we found someone had parked almost completely blocking pathway to main inn and it was a very icy morning.

Duane

Thank you for taking the time to send this review.

Your points and issues are duly noted and I will take action to make sure it's not repeated.

We are building additional parking which should alleviate the parking situation at the main-house.

Thanks

This was actually our 2nd stay here! We got engaged at this lovely, romantic inn 14 years ago on a "leaf-peeper" tour of the Berkshires, Vermont and New Hampshire. To celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary we went back and it was still as loving and charming as our first trip. As an added benefit to those trying to decide which inn to book at, we went on the special weekend in December when they recreate Main St.. like it was in the famed Norman Rockwell painting. During that weekend they have a home tour of several homes and several of the other Inns were on that tour so we got to peek at those as well. We walked away from that house tour thinking how much more beautiful the Inn at Stockbridge was over the others and how happy we were that we were staying there. By the way, Lisa's breakfasts and night time goodies were PHENOMENAL and Jeff was so helpful with helping with restaurant reservations and other area suggestions....we could want for nothing more there! We insist to our friends that if they are ever near the Berkshires that they visit Stockbridge, a great little town, and stay at the Inn at Stockbridge! PS - we stayed in the Blagdon Room and it had just been renovated! The sheets on the bed are to die for and the room was very large and comfortable. We don't tend to enjoy overly "grandma" like decor with knitted armchair covers and cabbage rose prints and we found this Inn to have just enough country decor to give you the charm without being overwhelming....it felt more country elegant.

Room tip: Blagdon Room - wonderful and roomy!

My fiance and I needed a night away and this made it perfect. The owners, Jeff and Lisa, are welcoming but allow, along with the property an amazing amount of privacy. The rooms are gorgeous and clean. The bed is so comfortable. There are so many small details and thoughts put into your stay. Lisa is also an amazing cook and the breakfast is worth waking up for. We will be going again!
