We've just spent a winter weekend at the Inn at Stockbridge, something we've done before (we try to ge there at least once a year). They've been busy redoing rooms, and we stayed in the newly redecorated Blagdon Suite in the main house. The bed & pillows were SO comfortable that I slept through the night for the first time in MONTHS! Breakfasts, as always, were superb, and it's always enlightening to talk to the other guests. The hosts recommended a restaurant we'd never been to for dinner, Pearl in Great Barrington, & it was quite good. We look forward to going up there again next winter; hope to get a chance to get up there over the summer, too, when Tanglewood & Jacob's Pillow & the other cultural things are "in season." For winter, we love to go shopping at the Lee outlets & just hang around the warm fire in the lobby/living room, reading.

It was a great pleasure to stay at the Inn for the second time. Very hospitable atmosphere, personable innkeepers, beautiful rooms, and bountiful breakfast, best of all is their "assistant" Mia Dog.

I would recommend this charming Inn to anyone with a desire for an excellent and relaxing time away.

My husband and I found the Inn at Stockbridge on Trip Advisor when we decided to take a spur-of-the-moment getaway right before New Year's Eve. We found the positive reviews to be right on target.

Alice and Len were gracious hosts. The Inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays, right down to the breakfast plates. Our room at the barn, which is about 5 years old was cozy and inviting, yet large enough for us to spread out. We loved the fireplace, the 4 poster king size bed, the rocking chair and the spacious bathroom with jacuzzi. It was just as tempting stay in the room and curl up with a book as it was to go and explore the Berkshires.

We especially enjoyed Chef Len's yummy and hearty breakfasts which change every day -- banana pecan pancakes and sweet potato pancakes on the days we were there.

Someone else on the web site said their standard poodle was annoying -- we loved her and thought she was well behaved.

All in all I would rate it as a lovely experience -- worth a repeat visit!

We absolutely loved it! It was so relaxing and the breakfasts were incredible! The homemade blueberry scones and the Banana nut pancakes were absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere. Len and Alice were so very helpful and accomodating. We loved Mia too (Len and Alice's dog). The wine, cider and cheese in the afternoon was a great touch. Felt at home and very comfortable. The romance package was great - fresh roses in the room, champagne, chocolates - nice change of pace!!!
