If you're a fan of Arlo Guthries Alice's Restaurant, you have to stop by this place. We just had cake and coffee but it seemed like a nice place for lunch. There are some cool things hanging on the walls relating to the song and the service was great. Plus, as much as I love Stockbridge, there are only so many things you can do there so give it a shot.

“60s blast from the past”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

We visited Stockbridge in October 2013 and had dinner at this small cafe. It's located in the downtown area, just off Main Street down a picturesque side passageway. As the sign on the glass door announces, it's the original site of Alice's Restaurant, made famous in Arlo Guthrie's epic 1967 song. After a month of road travel eating rich restaurant foods, the comparatively lighter and healthier brown rice and chicken curry dish we ordered was refreshingly welcome. The food was deliciously well prepared, with the veggies perfectly done, and all of it served by a friendly staff. While dining, we enjoyed the ambiance of natural woods and art-decorated walls----including Arlo's "Alice's Restaurant" record album cover. Seating is somewhat limited, so it could probably get a bit crowded on busy weekends. However, we noted there's an outside patio providing more tables during nice weather. Next time we're in Stockbridge, we'll definitely return to this charmingly retro eatery.

“Great place”
Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

Came here for lunch on Sunday afternoon after visiting the Norman Rockwell Museum. We loved the historic part of it. A cute little restaurant. Service by a young nan was excellent and the food was great. Menu even had several options for our vegan friend.

“Great Lunch Spot”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Took some friends from South America to Theresa's for lunch on a beautiful fall afternoon. The weather was perfect to sit outside on their small patio. While the restaurant isn't very updated, the food was fantastic. The wraps and sandwiches were all wonderful. Big portions. Nice wine list. Our server made us feel very welcome. Will definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.

“Theresa's Stockbridge Cafe-Alice's Resaurant revisited”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

A friendly reminder of the 60's. My wife and I stopped in late in the evening, just prior to closing.
That didn't stop the waitress and cook from providing us with an relaxing, unhurried visit. The soup and sandwiches we had were fresh and very tasty. Our waitress provided us with some interesting background on Stockbridge. The dessert we shared was great and made there. If you're hungry in Stockbridge, stop in- you won't be disappointed.
