“Beautiful & Inspiring”
Reviewed October 1, 2013 via mobile

Quite a lovely experience to visit this beautiful / peaceful retreat. The shrine is incredibly beautiful and the life-sized Stations of the Cross provide a thoughtful & compelling experience. Truly enjoyed our time at this special place.

“The highlight of my trip”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

Whatever your religion, you don't want to miss the shrine. Acres of beautiful lawn, lots of parking. Life size Stations of the Cross along an east-to-walk trail. Lots of surprises as you walk around. Don't miss Candle Shrine. The place to go for peace and contentment...

“Divine Mercy - Inspirational”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

I expected the find a church, gift shop and some devotional areas at the shrine and was surprised at the extent of the grounds, the Way of the Cross, the outdoor worship space and the number of other devotional areas. I can’t think of a more inspiring way to spend the morning or any part of your day.

“Pilgrimage”

Our pilgrimage was so fulfilling , we attended the rosary ,mathematically a sung mass followed boy the chaplet. We even were able to kiss the relic of Sister Faustina.

“serene and lovely”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

At first my husband did not want to make the trip to this shrine, but he was glad that we went. The grounds were beautiful and the view from the overlook was awesome. We enjoyed the nice paved pathways around the 14 stations of the cross and I especially appreciated all the benches that were available so you could sit and meditate. We also enjoyed the spiritual feeling when visiting the stained glass candle chapel and the outdoor open air church was awe-inspiring. It took us all morning to see everything and it was all free. It was a wonderful way to spend the morning and I'd like to go back in the fall.
