Having loved Norman Rockwell's paintings for many years, it was a treat to visit the museum. There are many wonderful paintings to view at the museum. It is very interesting and the displays are arranged very nicely. The area where the museum is located is beautiful, It was well worth the visit.

“There's A Lot to See”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

The museum had moved from its former cramped location to the new property and building since we were last there and it's really nice. The spaces are wide open and the collection is huge. It's fun to see over 300 Saturday Evening Post covers in one place in the display downstairs. The current special exhibit of illustrator Wendell Minor is really excellent. Take a walk out to see Rockwell's studio. The grounds are gorgeous.

“Interesting insight into Rockwell”
Reviewed May 18, 2014

I've always liked Rockwell, but didn't know what to expect from the museum. It exceeded my expectations! The museum has an incredible collection of Rockwell's works with knowledgeable docents and staff. He was a fascinating man with a prolific career and an interesting eye for storytelling with an attention to detail. The grounds are amazing and worth the trip for them alone. Beautiful views of the Berkshires and wonderful Adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the view!

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed May 17, 2014

He is such a brilliant artist. There is an absolutely great collection of his works here plus his studio to visit as well. Most of his Saturday Evening Post covers are here where he tells stories of everyday American life especially of children with great, good humour . There are also his more serious works depicting his racial concerns, his love of freedom and justice.
