I love Norman Rockwell and don't think he should apologize for being an illustrator as if that is less than an "artist"! The museum is well set out with a good general introduction from a guide. Rockwell's studio, now in the grounds of the museum, is worth a visit too. We also had a snack in the cafe.

We were hungry after our morning stroll at the botanical garden, so we were looking forward to lunch before we return to New Jersey. Ronnie was our server, who was a very pleasant man. We placed our orders of ceasar salad which was excellent , fish and chips fried to perfection and my husband pot pie as well. Desserts were really good as well. Worth a visit

A good learning experience for me to see Mr. Rockwells artwork under one roof and his perspective of life...

Definitely take the time to listen to the tour guide talk which lasts about 30 minutes. She was great. Norman Rockwell's painting are so inspiring, it is wonderful to see them in person. The museum is located in a beautiful park like setting with park benches.
