We have been going to the Davis Mega Maze for several years in a row now and always have fun doing so. We essentially go as a family group and spend the better part of a day there and work in a breakfast or lunch to make it that much more fun. We are never disappointed, as the price is reasonable, the staff friendly and helpful and above all the maze is a neat and rather unique thing to do. With apple picking and animal petting available you can certainly entertain any age group - even the maze is as hands on and hard as you want it to be. Overall a nice day outside spent with family or friends getting a decent amount of exercise and fun in! Look forward to doing this with the family and friends for many years to come. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

“Anyone, anytime”

I've been to Davis' more then once...have had a blast each time. Great place to bring kids but also great for older kids too. My friends and I attended the haunted maze a year or two ago in October. We are all in our 20's but had an awesome time. Not exactly scary but still great fun. We expected to be in and out but we got lost and spent a good two hours finding our way. I would suggest this place to anyone any age. Keep up the good work Davis!!

“Mega Maze: Wicked fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2013

We didn't think we'd get lost... but oooooh we did! This was a great date place because we had time to talk & we got to see how each other thinks. Happily, we both love puzzles. We also had to work together and there are a lot of things going on at once --- really, we had a GREAT time! Bring Snacks!! They have candy at all of the bridges, but they ran out close to the end of the day. They sell food inside but it's all sweet stuff. We were starving when we were finally through (3 hours later) --- and their food is better than you'd expect! Especially the french fries!

“Petting zoo”

We brought little one there for animal petting around Oct. Compare to the last time we were there, we found fewer animals but enough to be entertained. Many animals are well taking care of and "people friendly." I only wish some staffs could be passionate about their jobs.

The apple picking is NOT a good idea by the time of Oct. Most apples are gone. If there is anything I would recommend, I would love to see if staffs could be more informational about the animals and explain it with knowledge. This could be trained. They could even come out some kind of sponsorship programs for animals. In this case, the bond will be established.

“Davis Mega Maze: Fun, Challenging, Long!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

We went to the Mega Maze, not the Farmland, as a group of 2 families. We had 2 couples, 3 girls aged 11, and 2 boys aged 8. We planned to get there within the first hour of opening which allowed us more time in the maze with fewer people. It was a great day! We watched a short video explaining the maze, the mystery, the clues, and the other activities in the maze. We were trying to solve the murder mystery and answer questions about presidents and some conspiracy theories. There were also games in the maze: a playground, a sumo wrestling/bopping game, and an obstacle course. We had a lot of fun but some of us (me) did not get through the maze. The parents had a LOT of fun but the kids were not as excited as we were. They liked the activities and running around the paths, but not so much the mystery and the trivia questions. After a few hours we were all ready to finish. Half the group figured out the maze and the other half didn't. After getting out we had a great big lunch at the maze and went down an inflatable slide and played in the hay pit. The cider doughnuts were great. They serve a big lunch platter so be aware you can order a la carte for less money. We were hoping to also pick or buy some apples, but weren't able to do that. Overall it was a really nice trip for everyone. We left after lunch and there was a line at that time.
