My wife and I and another couple decided to visit Vienna. This is our second time going to this restaurant. Our first experience was better than this one. One of the major disappointing factors of this trip was the fact that the waiter smelled like cigarettes. You could tell during the course of the meal that he would run outside and have a puff and when he came back in there was a strong odor. The service was slow. And the meal was mediocre. Don't know if we'll be back.

The evening started with a cocktail hour, which included giant shrimp, baked cheese, meatballs, bruschetta, lamb chops and a host of cheeses , dips and other treats. Champagne flowed all evening. Supper consisted on Salad, Soup, Steak, Fish and veggis plus a dessert buffet. A two piece combo played soft background all night. Hosts Lisa & Jon toasted the New Year in with us. The decor was outstanding for the event and the food was terrific. Well worth the price.

We went to the Vienna Restaurant on a Wednesday evening. They have an excellent wine list and the staff was second to none. I had my choice of dinners down to 4 items. I had to ask the waiter what he recommended. His suggestion was spot on as it was delicious. We were having such a delightful evening and time passed so quickly. Soon the owners were out sitting with us and conversing with us as we were from out of state. They truly made you feel at home.

If you there, dont forget to ask to look at their 1885 world atlas.

While traveling on business in western MA. a few years back we encountered this charming restaurant. We had an excellent time and awaited the day that we could re-visit. The opportunity finally came last evening. We traveled from our business location to the small town of Southbridge (~1:15 drive). This was well worth our time and energy. Our meal was amazing, the service was excellent, and the company was the best. After dinner we enjoyed a great conversation with the owners, which added the perfect completion to a perfect evening. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a good meal, and good company. "A dining experience".

Being "Foodies" we had been on the lookout for a special meal that we could enjoy together. We took our youngest son here for his 22nd Birthday dinner. We were ushered into the parlor for the evening where we were met with a blazing fire draped with "Happy Birthday" and fabulous cocktails. Our server was passionate and knowledgeable about the cuisine and how much we would need and individualized our appetizers. The entire meal was a pleasure. We started out with drinks and apps around the fire then we moved to our private dining table where we were served our salads and meals. Once that feast was over, we moved back to the chairs and couches and enjoyed coffee and deserts. I now understand what feasting means. What a wonderful experience with incredible foods, flavors and setting. We can't wait to return and eat the entire appetizer menu and desert of course! Be sure to make this very special restaurant part of your holiday or winter night outing. And if you do overeat and need to sleep it off, a lovely historic inn is just upstairs and breakfast is only a few hours away.
