“Got to be tried!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

Being a Brit now living here - did I mention that? Very occasionally we gravitate towards an Irish or British 'pub type' restaurant. Having tried a few in Boston and the surrounding areas I cannot believe that the best by far is right on my doorstep in Southborough! Great service, great value, nicely portioned honest good food - also great beer! I just wish it was walking distance from my house! So, so much better than another British restaurant near by!

I've been back a couple of times already and recommend the O'Leary burger - delicious!

“Always good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

We have been going to Owen's for the past 10 years. The prices are great, the servers are on the ball and very nice and the food is excellent. Particularly, if you have kids, go on for the kids eat free day and don't forget about the $9.99 "Roast Nights" on Sunday and Wednesday.

“Owen O'Leary's Westborough, MA”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

Very disappointed. Waited 25 minutes before we were approached by a waitress. Took our drink order and waited another 20 minutes. When our beer arrived it was warm and one beer was much less filled than another. When food finally arrived we were missing a knife, french fries and mustard. Our waitress said she would bring and steak knife and asked what kind of fries and mustard. The mustard arrived but it was the wrong kind and the knife and french fries never arrived. What really bothered us is that the waitress never apologized for any of the long waits or acknowledged forgetting any of the items. Even more disappointing, the food was tasteless and the restaurant smelled like mildew.

“Not worth the trip”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

We stopped here for a quick lunch. We figured Irish pub with their own beer would be a great combination.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. My husband has the Irish Red and it was just okay. He also had the boneless buffalo wings which were small, bland and had a frozen taste. I had the chicken quesadilla for lunch and while the plate was beautiful with lots of tomatoes, jalopenos and olives, the quesadilla itself was bland and the chicken tasted frozen.

The atmosphere was nice and the staff was really friendly. We were bothered by the flies that kept circling.

Overall I would avoid, stick with the chain restaurants around or keep driving until you get to Boston.
