“Nice place to get away”
Reviewed March 26, 2011

This was our third time going to the clarion. Two weeks ago, we decided to take the kids for a weekend get away. They loved the indoor pool, and it was a plus for me to have the wireless internet so I could get some work done at the same time! The room was clean, and staff were friendly. I've always enjoyed staying at this hotel, however this time I do have 2 complaints. First, the lock on our sliding glass door was broken. Staff did come right away to fix it, however the lock still did not seem to work correctly. Second, do not expect to have a free continental breakfast if you stay in the off season. We headed to the breakfast area early, only to find it closed off. We were told at check in that breakfast was available, but had no idea that it was not the continental. Instead, they offer breakfast cooked to order. We decided to stay for breakfast anyway, which I admit was very delicious. It was fairly priced, at 24 dollars for 2 adults and 2 children. I just wish staff were more clear about the breakfast available. Other than that, the hotel stay was nice.

Nothing spectacular. No great views. Not on the beach. Not upscale and luxurious. Just a nice clean place place to stay with newer furniture and an indoor pool. Staff was courteous and professional. Close to Hyannis and beaches, We liked it,

we booked 4 nights when the weather was horrible, thank heavens for their lovely indoor pool and generous cancellation policy - we left after the second day and were able to book a long weekend the next week when the weather cleared.

My wife and I spent the weekend in Hyannis, MA and booked this hotel at the recommendation of the antique show promoter. We had a large room with very comfortable mattress, absorbent towels, refrigerator and flat screen TV. The room was spotless and very light. We appreciated the convenience of having breakfast on premises, consisting of coffee, tea, bagels, breads, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, and muffins. The staff kept the dining areas clean and the food area well stocked. In the evening, we enjoyed lounging at the pool and using the whirlpool. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in the Hyannis area. Many fine restaurants can be found along Route 28.

After a stressful weekend, we decided to spend an overnight on the Cape and were SO happy we found the Clarion. The reviews are correct in that it is very clean, no odors (however the aromas were wonderful - of the belgian waffles Sunday morning!). Throughout the whole time we were on the premises, the staff was nice and pleasant and they were CONSTANTLY cleaning and making sure everything was always in order. Pool checks were done, hallways were vacuumed............it was just a nice feeling for such an great and inexpensive room rate to feel very catered.....it felt like a higher end hotel. The hotel itself and the rooms were very nicely decorated and parking was ample.

The only downsides, for us, were no alcohol bar on-site since we didn't stop at the package store earlier in the day, no full-fledged restaurant on-site, and if you want the ocean you have to drive to it. We will definitely make another trip here.

Years ago, when our kids were little, we stayed at the All Seasons in the Cape. We hadn't been back to the Cape in years, and decided to go last summer. We didn't realize the All Seasons had become the Clarion, and we are sooo happy it did. We always loved the location, but now that it is the Clarion, it is what I think the nicest, most relaxing get away to the Cape. First of all, it's right on Rt. 28, which is convenient to Hyannis and the beaches. It's wonderful to go anywhere in this are. But, let me tell you about this amazing hotel. It went through a major rennovation a few years ago, and smells and looks absolutely brand new. The staff couldn't be nicer. They are sooo acccomodating and eager to please the guests. The desk was very helpful always with restaurant suggestions and directions. The manager is warm and always wants everyone to be happy here. The pools (inside and out) are sooo clean, along with the fitness room. I worked out both mornings, and it was so great. They have a very nice breakfast room with all sorts of choices, including hot waffle maker. The rooms are lovely and very spacious. We went back again this year in July and hope to go again possibly even before August is over. We've stayed at the classiest Marriotts, and this is right up there. Greatest hotel in the Cape for sure! Don't miss this one! :)

Recent 2 night stay with our 7 yr old and grandparents. Check in was fast and friendly. The AC in the room was great, but the hallways were sweltering. Free breakfast and WiFi were just as advertised. The outdoor pool was sparkling clean and felt great. They jacuzzi was nice and hot. Towels were provided poolside, although they did run out for a while. Location was great, centrally located on the cape. Highly recommend the Hyannis Whale Watching, we had a great time. Also played miniature golf and had a great time. For the price, can't be beat.
