“Simply Lovely!”

We couldn't have asked for more. We renewed our wedding vows under the gazebo in the beautifully manicured garden. The event itself was as special as the first time. Our hosts, Michael and Nancy, made the entire event and our week long stay, an occasion not to be forgotten. The ambiance of the Inn with its fine furnishings, fragrant scents, soft music, flowers and more, have all the makings of a romantic getaway. Every morning we were treated to a three course gourmet breaksfast served to us in the courtyard or the formal dining room, the setting of our choice. We absolutely would not hesitate to go back again!

Our suite was beautiful. Elegantly decorated. Clean and every amenity that you could think of. The breakfasts were fantastic.

Nancy and Michael 's hosptiality was far more than we could ever expect. We will be back.
Thank you!

Maybe we are partial to the host and hostess because they are such good friends, but the Captain Farris house is everything I thought it would be. Our room had a great balcony overlooking the gardens in the back, there was even a little bird who made a nest for her babies in the floral wreath on the door. If that does not say that it's a quiet and relaxing place to stay, I dont know what would! Our stay was great. It was just the overnight get away we needed. It was quiet and clean very relaxing. The area dining was was very good as well. Just a short little walk around the corner.
In the morning we had a great breakfast of fruit, warm custard and french toast. Very Good! Then we were off to the antique store to complete our weekend retreat.
I highly recommend the place.

What a terrific place! The rooms are absolutely beautiful and spotless! Everything from the luxury bath products and big fluffy towels to the crisp cotton sheets and puffy comforters made our stay very comfortable. The oversized jacuzzi made for a very relaxing way to end the day. The location is great too...right in the middle of everything on the Cape. Nancy and Michael are very pleasant and the food was excellent. Everything about The Captain Farris House is first class!

Captain Farris House is the perfect B AND B! The rooms are spotless and newly decorated. The decor is very tastefully done with lots of antiques. Beds are very comfortable, we had the two upstairs suites for my wife and I and our two young boys. We only saw the hosts for breakfast and as it was off season had the house to ourselves! Facilities are much like a hotel, good toiletries in the rooms, hairdryers, plenty of towels etc. Breakfasts are legendry, we couldn't finish them. Yarmouth however may not be the most picturesque town on the Cape, Provincetown has to take that award!

The Captain Farris Inn and its innkeepers, Michael and Nancy, set the standard for excellence in hospitality, comfort, cleanliness and warmth. Higly suggest you put this one on your list of "Five Star" places to experience.

We booked the Captain Farris House for an overnight stay on a Saturday in February. The room (Russell's Hideaway) had obviously been recently remodeled, as everything was fresh, new and very clean. A complimentary basket included a blanket, 2 mugs w/cocoa, and socks to cuddle in front of the fireplace. The hosts Michael and Nancy were very attentive and personable. The breakfast was positively sinful! We got caught in the "Blizzard of 2006" and ended up staying an extra night, as travel was not possible. Another night in front of the fire, and another amazing breakfast! We can't wait to visit The Captain Farris House again!!
