We visited the "Village" for two nights last week. We are returning visitors. The food and the service were both excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were average. It's easy to see that they spent a tidy sum on the restaurant/pub area. However, updating the rooms need to be a priority. Both of the mattresses in our room were terribly uncomfortable. The windows will need a chisel to get the outsides clean and the main door to reception seems warped and in desperate need of repair!

Nice place for the price. Food good but service lacking in dining room especially at night. DIning roo can become quite loud in busy due to the number of bus tours that pass through. Rooms comfortable with separate seating area.
Wireless internet provided only in the lobby area and there is is spotty.
Outdoor pool connects to indoor pool with whirlpool both good size and well kept. Location is awesome.
Recommendation- Internet throughout the house and coffee makers in the room.

Our group of friends go there every year around the middle of June.
It is a 2 or 3 night stay, whichever is the plan.
The Cape Cod Irish Village is quite lovely, and a big upgrade from the previous location.
The swimming pool area is quite nice and relaxing.
The Prime Rib was not up to my expectations.
The breakfast and wait staff were awesome.
However, we had a lovely time as usual and will continue to keep going back.

We have been going here for many years, both before and after the move. It is a great place to take family - the package deals are a great value and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
It is not "upscale or snooty", but a comfortable, family atmosphere. We are among old friends there.

The new location at the old Gull Wing is a major improvement. The new dining/function rooms are bright and pleasant. The food/packages are great. A real bargain for friends and family. All staff are so personable and helpful - especially Tom McCormick., the wait staff and the front desk staff. Really caring and accommodating. The only suggestion I would have is, in this day and age with asthma and allergies so common - carpet care and air- conditioners should be reviewed and maintained with a professional cleaning and maintained with hepa filter vacuums. Beds are a little uncomfortable.
Overall a great time!

Wow! I can't believe the reviews, did we go to the same place? The food would have been better if it was hot. At breakfast the blueberry pancakes were very good as was the ham and cheese omelet (I would have enjoyed it more if I had ordered ham in it.) at least it was hot. The first morning the Irish breakfast was just so-so it may have tasted better if it were hot not just barely warm. The rooms were in need of repair. Sinks not draining, shower knobs and wall shelves falling off, covers falling off a/c units and windows you can't open on the first floor. Don't walk around your room barefoot the carpets feel like they could use a good cleaning. I don't know how many people had trouble with their keys but it was ridiculous! After spending a few minutes trying to get in your room with no luck you would get new keys (which may or may not work) or one of the staff would have to let you in with a master key. The place needs some cosmetic work and a lot of TLC to get it in shape! The best thing I noticed about the place was the hired help. They were were polite and helpful doing the best they could with what they had to work with. The entertainment Erins Melody was very good with a nice mix of dance music. Vinton Stanley was ok but by 10pm there were only a handful of people left. He wasn't as good as Erins Melody.

Room Tip: You could try asking if they have anything that has been recently updated.

Wondered how the move would affect the experience,,it was great. They now have 2 pools, one outside and one inside, that are very nice. The packages they offer are terrific....well worth the trip to Cape Cod

Room Tip: All rooms are small suites....one away from the pool is best
