“Not what we expected”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2014

We were looking for a place that served something other than seafood. This was not what we were looking for. It seems to get good reviews from others, but no one in our family cared for this place.

“pizza with company”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2014

pizza and sub shop in a small strip mall. At lunch time you can get two slices and a soda for $5.00 plus tax. Average thin crust pizza, with a nice mild sauce. A step up from Papa G's. Some family size tables. A few game machines. Lots of Coke memorabilia. Dummy at the round table needs a shower and a laundry. Not Cute. Just dirty looking. Good subs. Sometimes the youthful staff is disinterested in you being there. It is a family business, but the kids don't get it---customers pay their wages, etc. Sometimes the phone is off the hook when it is too busy for them to handle more work. It must work for them, as this place has been around for many years.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2014

After a week straight of eating seafood for every meal while on Cape Cod, my wife and I decided to have a pizza night. We were staying in Dennis Port, so this place was close. Glad we chose to come here because the pizza was Awesome!! Just got a standard pepperoni pizza, but it was really really good, and made for great leftovers the next day too. There is a pinball machine in the restaurant and some other nostalgic things, overall great place to get some pizza on Cape Cod! I just ate some Papa Johns back here in Illinois and I wished it was pizza from Bass River...

“Best pizza on Cape Cod!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2014

My husband and I have a tradition - we always have a pizza for dinner on Tuesday nights, when NCIS is on TV. We discovered Bass River Pizza several years ago, and it's now the only place we order pizza here on the Cape. No matter what toppings you order, from the awesome Meat Lover's Special to the vegetarian (which is even better if you also add hamburg as a topping!) the pizzas are consistently perfectly cooked and delicious. Bass River Pizza makes their own sauce and dough from scratch, and you can certainly tell the difference. We always get a house salad, which is large enough for two people to enjoy. It's in a little strip mall on Route 28 in South Yarmouth, nothing fancy but definitely the best pizza on the Cape.

“Outstanding Pizza and Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2014

Last Sunday I once again ordered a vegetarian pizza from Bass River Pizza. It has been two years since we last ordered from here and I was pleased that it has remained excellent . This is the best vegetarian pizza I have ever had. In addition to the great crust, I love the way that the broccoli, onions, peppers are chopped so you do not bite into large chunks.
The two ladies making pizzas and handling the counter were friendly and efficient even though they were shortly closing.
