It is what it is. Older people or families on a budget will enjoy this place. The food is bland, without much seasoning. However it is inexpensive and clean with 4 - 6 tables that overlook a pond. My grand daughters love to watch the ducks but again you're lucky if you get a table that you can see them from

Went in to the Hearth 'n Kettle for mid day meal. I've been to their other locations many times, first time eating at this location. The server, Nancy was great and I am sure this location is happy to have her working there. If it wasn't for her and the great job see did, this would be a much more serve rating.
I ordered an omelet, nothing special, it came out rather in ok time. Now the gross part, this thing was loaded with garlic, what preparer, notice talking about a chef would LOAD an omelet with so much garlic that you couldn't taste anything else? There was so much garlic that even the toast had it on it! Well, last time to go here, the very last time.
And if anyone has an reaction to garlic, please be careful, really, this is not an idle warning.

We have always enjoyed dining at the Hearth 'n Kettle when we visit the Cape, but our last experience was not good. There were so many tiny fruit flies that we spent the entire meal trying to swat them out of the way without getting them in our food. We have not been back there since.

Issues:
Meatballs were ice cold.

Kids portion of pasta and meatball was larger than adults.

Hair found in food.

Waiter vanished & had to flag down other server for place settings.

Just an awful meal. Not what it was years ago. The staff barely smiled.

This issue was at that cape codder resort location..

I tried to speak to a manager but he was busy..
