Thought we'd go have a little seafood and a drink. First of all, it's small and cramped. Secondly, if you are not a "regular" don't expect to get anything approaching good service. And last, but certainly not least, one of the "regulars" at the bar, whose back was to our table kept farting in front of us. No excuse me, no one asked him to step outside, nothing. We had to change seats...it was that bad. We practically had to tackle someone to take our order. Never had refills/additional drinks offered...had to wait forever for the first ones. But the "regulars" at the bar never had an empty cup. No one checked on us and getting the check entailed running down the server. The clam chowder and stuffed quahogs were really good, too bad the experience was so incredibly awful. I definitely would not go back. Go someplace where they at least acknowledge your existence when you want to spend some money in their establishment.

Obviously a favourite amongst the locals. Informal dining with a wonderful homey feel. Thoroughly enjoyed our bucket of steamers and skinning lessons from Susan! Fun time!

Have driven past this place for many years our our visits to the Cape, but never stopped because of small size of the place. This time we decided to give it a try. As I said, it's tiny, but the atmosphere and the food are fantastic. The people (staff as well as patrons) are friendly and outgoing. Do not expect elegance, this is definitely a "no frills" dining spot, but the seafood is excellent and reasonably priced. If you're not interested in dining, it's still a great place to stop in for a few brews and rub elbows with the locals. We will be going there again on future visits. If you want fine pricey dining with a classy atmosphere, there's the Yarmouth House very close by, but that's a different review by me. I highly recommend both, depending on your mood at the time.

Yes it's cheap. Emphasis on Spirits - mostly a bar. Paper plates and plastic utensils etc.

Fish was not so tasty.

Apparently a local hangout and we are not local so we felt unwelcome.
