Kids loved it. Tried both sides of mini golf and they were both fun!

We had a great time, the scenery was great and the kids loved the prizes at the end. Staff was friendly and helpful, making sure the kids had the right clubs. We golfed the Blackbeard course the first night and the Captain's Course the second night. I did find the Blackbeard course more entertaining, with multiple caves, a hole on the pirate ship and one that requires hitting your ball down a spiral. You need to follow the black footprints on the ground when choosing your course to golf the Balckbeard course, the Captain's Course was also enjoyable.

Pirates Cove is the nicest minature golf course we have been to.The course, which consists of two 18 hole courses, has awesome scenery with caves, waterfalls, sunken pirate ships and realistic looking pirates in cages within the caves throughout the cousre.Tthere are also audio recordings of Pirates offering advise and warnings to passers by. A simulated cannon fires on a partially sunken Pirate ship with a corresponding splash in the water from the missed "shot". Great course layout and very well maintained. As much fun for adults as it is for the kids.

We stayed across the street for a week and tried several times to play at Pirates Cove. The lines were too long and we were unwilling to wait. When speaking to several who actually did play said that it took a long time because of the wait at each hole. I suggest if you don't want to wait, play at the other course that is 1/2 mile further east on Rt 28.

Ok, so I know it's a little weird to review the greens on a mini golf course. However, after many good experiences at Pirate's Cove in South Yarmouth, my wife and I went back for a quick 18. It seems like they recently put new turf down for the greens and they didn't do a good job. The putts hop multiple times. Most people probably won't care at all, but even when playing mini golf, you want a smooth roll.

The course is still the best looking on the cape, and it's full of water attractions and informational pirate tidbits that you can read while waiting for 20 minutes between every hole during the peak season.
