My husband and I ate at the Old Mill during a weekend away in the Berkshires. The room is beautiful, the service was good, BUT this place is WAY OVERPRICED. We are from NYC and we can get far better meals at pretty much half the price. I understand the whole "farm to table" shtick (although where are you getting all these veggies in the dead of winter?) but come on- this is pure overhead. We actually sat there thinking - ok the atmosphere (fireplace, lighting, table settings) could take up $5 of the meal. The dish still wouldn't be worth 23 dollars. The eggplant parm dish was $20. and it didn't even come with pasta!!!! I will say that the desserts were really good but I can't see breaking the bank to return.
