“Red Cottage Special”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2012

I judge a breakfast place by the home fries. They have to be done on a grill (no deep frying please) and lets be sure they are well cooked, (not just thrown on for 7 minutes. Red Cottage has great home fries. (A few more onions would be OK) but the home fries rock. The pancakes are also great. Fabulous service and a charming place for breakfast.

“this place is just like coming home.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2012

the end of another long summer season and the guests have all left the cape.and i must admit i've tagged along and had breakfast out with them more times than i care to remember. but there is only one place i'll be heading to on my own. the red cottage has been and remains my very favorite place to have breakfast on the cape. can't even remember how many years i've been coming here, long enough to see several favorite waitresses retire and the next generation man the grill for quite a few years. this place is just like coming home. the food is great, the atmosphere friendly, always!

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

I have been coming here since I was a young teenager. Well, I havent been in a few years and this is the first place I had to come..no stopping ...straight here! I walked in and it was heaven! The most pleasant staff, exceptional service, and quite honestly, the best breakfast I have ever eaten, that has not changed since the beginning! Of course I ate there everyday! The chef is personable and knows what he is doing..the hollandaise is incredible! Family feel and warm and inviting. If your ever in the area it is a must! Thanks everyone!

The best breakfast menu on the Mid Cape. We can't wait to try their lunch menu. The variety of dishes is very creative and tasty

“Great breakfast”

French toast a standout but you have to try the homefries. They cook them with ham, peppers and onions and then covered with hollandaise!
