We went to Chandler's with our very good friend after visiting the Yankee Candle Store as it is on the same grounds as the store. Excellent atmosphere and a nice lunch as well. We had quiche, a Rueben, which was very good, a bacon-wrapped meatloaf grinder, which was excellent and Muffuletta, which was really good. the service was very good and it was a nice time with family and friends.

Note: A traditional style muffuletta sandwich consists of a muffuletta loaf split horizontally and covered with layers of marinated olive salad, mortadella, salami, mozzarella, ham, and provolone. My wife said it was very good. I tried it and agreed.

One of our friends favorite spots for a nice lunch.

A very nice dining experience after visiting The Yankee Candle Shop. The setting was beautiful - tulips outside our window. The food was excellent - I had 1/2 ham sandwich with chowder - very good. We had their cheese cake (one slice is enough for two people). The server was excellent - would return. Very reasonable in prices.

Met here for lunch with some of us from CT and someone from VT. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The chowder was excellent as always! Hamburger was "nothing to write home about". The quiche of the day was just ok and the baked mac and cheese was good. We had a large table for the four of us and we were in kind of a corner so we were able to catch up with one another.

Go for lunch as it's less pricey and enjoy the delicious entrees and wonderful ambience. Dinner is a little pricey

Chandler's is adjacent to the Yankee Candle flagship store and a Chandler was a candle-maker of the middle ages. The restaurant has a colonial motif with candles hanging in the roof area. The atmosphere is really great. The servers are an excellent lot and all seem very perky. The menu has many choices to suit any palate but I think their fish and chips is the best anywhere. The prices are moderate. One cannot go wrong dining here. The night setting is very beautiful and provides a romantic candlelit atmosphere.
