this place is realy worth a trip. as you enter, the 1st rooms has small glass boxes with diffreent insects and small animals to look. they are unique. look for the green geico lizard!! also they have a box showing the stages live by which the butterfly born. as soon as you enter the 2nd large room, you feel like in a different place. very lively and beautiful. there are many colourful butterflies flying evrywhere around, might come and sit on you as well. there's a small pond with orange fishes, tortoise, parrot. also some more boxes there with animals which the employee takes out to see if you request (and if you are brave enough to have them in hands).a bench there to sit. a good and educative place for small kids. the place has restrooms, snacks and icecream bar.there's a small entrance fee but its worth the effort they put in. even wanted to give more to help the place but dont know how! take some extra time to visit yankee candle on the same route.

Thank H B

Combine a visit to Magic Wings with a visit to Atlas farm stand and Yankee Candle store -- they are all on the same road and just a few minutes' drive from each other. (Route 5/10) Butterfly Wings is a lovely conservatory with butterflies, lizards, small quail, coi pond. The grounds also include a shaded picnic area, cafe and snack bar and a gift shop.

When we were there, one of the snack bar staff seemed a bit clueless - how do you run out of coffee at 9 am and fail to refrigerate the half and half cups so that they curdle? However, there is a decent selection of food. We had yogurt for breakfast and came back for takeout tuna salad for lunch.

However, the animals are worth the trip. You can learn so much if you go slowly, relax and let the atmosphere do its magic. Hope staffer Alicia is working when you go - she clearly loves her work and educating people about the wonderful wildlife.

This attraction is good for kids, but smaller children (say, under age 4) may not be too impressed or be a little too rambunctious, i.e. there's no running as you could easily step on a butterfly or one of the little ground-dwelling quail. Also, be aware of their "no stroller" policy as you'll end up carrying your one-year-old. To be fair, the quarters are just a little too close for strollers. But they do let in wheelchairs, so go figure.

My family and I enjoyed this Butterfly conservatory. The butterflies and other birds in the lovely garden of flowers were very beautiful. We could see the leaf shaped insect there maintained inside. You should definitely go with your camera. They also have a small restaurant attached to it.

Really charming. It is spacious and light and the butterflies are everywhere...my daughter was covered in them. It made me smile. I just found a seat and let them flutter all around. Bring your camera!

My family and I enjoyed this conservatory so much. The butterflies and flowers are beautiful, the gift shop could have been better. They have a little restaurant hooked to it and we had lunch there.
The food was good.
