what's not to love about butterflies in a peaceful setting! I went myself and returned with family and friends to share it with them too. Stay as long as you like. Linger and see what shows up as you soften your focus and relax. Gift shop is nice and the exhibit is interesting.

You MUST visit Magic Wings at least once in you life. Remember chasing one butterfly through a field as a child? Well...there are thousands of butterflies for you to marvel at, with no chasing involved. Butterflies are everywhere...flying in the air, landing on flowers and even landing on you. It's so surreal to see this many butterflies in one place. My favorite time to go here is when the weather turns cold. You step into the warmth and get to see all the beautiful plants and flowers and of course all of those butterflies. This is a great way to spend a couple of hour with kids, friends, and family. I always take must out of town guests here. They love it! Bring your camera, there are a lot of great photo opportunities for you.

we enjoyed our recent trip to the sanctuary. They have a wildly varied collection of live butterflies including some we'd never seen before (one with translucent wings was amazing). The space is pretty good sized and we didn't experience many back ups on the pathways. There's an attached restaurant and snack bar. The facility is a bit on the tired side but the butterflies are definitely worth the visit if you're in the area.

This was a breathtaking experience. Super-educational but also zen. Thousands of butterflies flying everywhere, plus baby quail chicks, frogs, lizards, and all kinds of cool plants and animals to see. The butterflies land on people, which is thrilling. My daughters (2 and 4) loved this place - but so did the adults! Well worth the trip. Also it wasn't as expensive as I would have expected- we paid the same admission to the Berkshires Botanical Garden, which was pretty but not nearly as amazing. Apparently the Yankee Candle store, which you pass along the way to Magic Wings from the highway, is also worth seeing - we missed it, though. Make this trip, you will be glad you did!

Walking into the butterfly area is just so cool. The butterflies are flying all over and landing on plants and people. You need to be aware that the temperature is kept quite warm and it can get a bit balmy. Well worth the price of admission.
