Went here recently after watching a crew regatta nearby. We were looking for a late breakfast and got there about 30 minutes befroe closing. We saw the reviews and figured we would give it a shot. The hash and cheddar omelette was thin and dry, hash tasted like it was from a can. Cranberry nut french toast was very good. Home fries were cold. Very good service.

A funky diner with good service and good basic food. Three of us has breakfast, and all three were satisfied. Two had omelets and I had poached eggs on an English muffin. Would definitely go again.

There are several 'real' diners in/near Worcester. Dinky's is the best.
The 40's era diner car is attached to a smallish modern building. Maybe 6 booths and long counter in the diner car and maybe 7 booths in the newer part.
It's just a fun, welcoming place.
Great breakfast and lunch. Fish Fridays dinner most weeks - but not sure they do that every week.
They've got all the usual fare plus lots of fun oddball stuff. The menu includes stuff like Eggs Benedinky and Uncle Bumps pancakes.
Cost is about average for diner chow.

Dinky's has 2 parts - basically a section that use to be a diner that still looks original and then they added another small section with tables. Food is very good, had maple french toast with bananas and nuts and my daughter had banana nut pancakes. My french toast consistes of 3 slices and my daughter received 2 large panackes the size of the plate. She could only eat 1/2 of hers. I had coffee and she had soda and the bill was $15.00.
