A very lovely old mansion with many antique furnishings. The hosts were very welcoming, and provided many little niceties, such as a glass of port wine, coffee, cookies etc. The breakfast was home made and delicious. The room was comfortable and had a hot tub. It is centrally located in Sandwich, making it easy to visit the local sites of interest.

This was the first B&B on our New England journey, and by far the best! The owners are very warm and welcoming, the rooms and furnishings take you back in time, and the breakfast cuisine is ridiculously delicious. We stayed in several B&Bs while traveling, and my husband and I are still talking about how much we loved our two days at Isaiah Jones. Sandwich is a lovely little town, but the best part is this B&B, and restaurants nearby that were recommended by our hosts, Katherine and Don. Take a side trip to Sandwich and stay at Isaiah Jones Homestead. You won't be disappointed!!

The innkeepers can't do enough for you. The food is fabulous, our room beautifully appointed jacuzzi and all. They offer much info about the Cape, make reservations for you at restaurants and the ferry and provide beach chairs towels for a trip to the beach! We would definitely revisit this beautiful B&B again and highly recommend it!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in mid-October. It was most definitely after the high season in Sandwich, so the area was pretty slow. The B&B though is well located and within easy walking distance of most of the sights of Sandwich, including the glass museum. We stayed in the Dr. Leonard room which is actually quite large (but is a lower priced room due to the tiny bathroom) and in the front of the house. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the Victorian period decor of the entire place. Our only comment was the TV was incredibly small for the room. From the bed you can't even see what channel you are on. Breakfast was delicious and filling each morning and the innkeepers were friendly and welcoming for the entire weekend.

A home from home feel...very friendly welcome from Donnie and Catherine is an excellent cook. Our bedroom...Samuel Beal was very comfortable with a portable set of steps to get into bed...the mattress was so fantastic...the only negatives was that the bathroom was very small although we appreciate its an old property and the TV screen was minute( 12 x 12 inches ) The communal lounge was beautifully furnished and we appreciated the complimentary sherry each evening. The dining room was also nicely furnished and the 3 course breakfast was beautifully cooked ..one morning ...scone....followed with poached pear with a delious cranberry sauce then 2 blueberry pancakes with bacon .....pity there was no offer of seconds!!!!!! ( There was no choice) The coffee was excellent . There is a good car parking area and the house is within walking distance of at least 2 good restaurants .

If there are rooms available, BOOK IT NOW, this is the place you are looking for. We spent four nights in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast and wish it could have been longer. Our hosts were friendly and knowledgable of the area, providing maps, booking day trips, and calling in dinner reservations on our whims. The historical house has been lovingly restored with beautiful and comfortable rooms with every convenience kept immaculately clean. Breakfasts were DELICIOUS, chef quality and served with a smile and good conversation. The next time we find ourselves in Cape Cod, this is the place we will stay again, and again, and again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Deming Jarves room with the whirlpool bath. It was spacious with lots of windows. C...

We stayed for only one night, but what a wonderful night it was. The house is full of beautiful architectural details, antiques, and living history. Our room was so welcoming with a four-poster bed, an original fireplace, and a cozy reading nook with two comfortable chairs. The breakfast was delicious, abundant, and visually appealing as well. We're looking forward to returning during the Christmas season. I would highly recommend the Isaiah Jones Homestead to all, but especially to someone interested in living in a little bit of architectural and social history.
