Six of us including my elderly mother in law arrived here on a recent Sunday morning. We were told brunch was not served until 11:45 am .It was 11:30 ,so we decided to wait,The hostess came out and curtly told us we would have to wait 1 hr.We were the only people in the waiting area, and the parking lot was half empty. We declined to wait,as we were leaving she came running over to us and loudly stated we may be seated earlier, but must seat her 11:45 am people first. We left.At 26$ per person they missed out on quite a bit of money. We have eaten here before and the food is quite good.We will be reluctant to return again.

We keep returning to this restaurant for their wonderful food, superb service and the lovely ambiance. We tend to go for lunch or an early dinner, their menu has a wide selection at reasonable prices always served with a nice presentation. The conservatory is our favorite room to sit back, relax and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

The D.W. has several fancy dining rooms, best among them the greenhouse room. Food in these rooms is upscale, up price and perfectly served. Dine in the pub and burgers and pizza share the menu with meals such as a $26 cioppino, and an $18 chicken satay. My husband thought the cioppino with half a lobster was topnotch, though it came with no side of grilled bread. I ordered the satay which said mildly seasoned (more like barely seasoned) with peanut sauce on the side. The sauce turned out to be very oily. The entire dish was topped by a seasoned pineapple ring which had more seasoning than any of the rest of the dish - the bok choy was this dish's only redeeming feature - avoid this dish! We decided to sit at a table by the bar and wound up with the butts of people standing by the bar in our faces. The waitstaff, rather than asking these people to sit or move closer to the bar, squeezed by further encroaching on our space. Fortunately we were finishing our coffee at this point. I would suggest sitting in the pub dining area rather than by the bar. This was at 8 P.M. on a Monday night! Normally this is a nice place for a quick tasty meal. Not this time!

We spent 5 weeks traveling through New England. The owners of our B&B recommended dinner here. We'd had a big lunch and just wanted something light...yeah, right! We were led to our table which was located by a window with a tropical garden on the other side, complete with waterfall! To make a long story short (isn't that what they ALL say?) my husband had prime rib and I had a filet, both with all the trimmings. We ate every crumb! I highly recommend it for special occasions or any other reason!

We had 2 wonderful evening meals here in the beautiful Conservatory restaurant. I enjoyed the half portions as this meant that I could sample the delicious desserts! Excellent service too.
