“Great Find!”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

I was referred to the 750 in and Shannon Charlie bye of B&B that had closed in the sandwich area that we had used for several years. It turned out to be a perfect referral. It was convenient, clean, the food was fantastic, the innkeepers were wonderful, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Inn itself is a historic gem in the middle of Sandwich and it was fun to just be there, much less in such historic town. I will be going back again.

Most important: this place is immaculately clean. It's cozy, bright, and inviting, with lots of space to hang out outside of your room. My husband and I visited here with my parents, who are older. Jan and Charlie took care of my parents like they were family, providing extra blankets, making appropriate restaurant recommendations, and providing valuable tips on what to see in Cape Cod. They accommodated all of our finicky dietary requests. Speaking of which, the food....oh Good Lord The Food! Amazing!!
Staying with Jan & Charlie made our visit to Cape Cod truly special. I've stayed in B&B's from New Orleans to Johannesburg, and this is one of the best. My folks stayed in the Miss Charlotte room, which was spacious and cheery on the first floor. My husband and I stayed in the Robert Morse room, which was perfect for an after dinner glass of (complementary!) wine on the balcony.

Lovely inn in historic Sandwich with wonderful owners Jan and Charlie. Very well maintained, great breakfasts! The inn seems to attract international guests, and we had enjoyable conversatioms with our UK chums. We highly recommend it. Thanks Jan and Charlie for supporting public television.

We stayed at 1750 Inn 5 nights last week and could not have been happier. First of all, Sandwich is just the cutest village along the Cape with much less commercialism than some of the other villages, which is a huge plus for us. Second, the 1750 Inn is right in the middle of this beautiful village (not right on the coast, but we discovered you don't really come to Cape Cod just for a "beach vacation" because there is so much else to see and enjoy. Third, and best of all, the Inn itself is impeccable. It is spotlessly clean, well appointed, and cheerful. The landscaping is lovely, the innkeepers are even lovelier. We were on the second floor in the Robert Morse Room, which was perfect for us; there was a small deck outside so the non-t.v. watcher could have some quiet. The only drawback for some visitors might be the very steep set of stairs to the second floor. But no problem if you are in reasonable shape. We stay in B & B's all over, and this was definitely in our Top Five!!

Room Tip: Avoid the second floor if you aren't capable of climbing a pretty steep set of stairs. Otherwis...

Such a warm welcome and a beautiful place to relax and sample the wonderful breakfasts. Jan even shared her recipes so I'll try and recreate them at home. The situation is very central so you can explore the beautiful town of Sandwich very easily.

My girlfriend and I recently spent 3 nights at this wonderful place. Jan and Charlie were wonderful Inn Keepers. The Inn is centrally located in Sandwich and Charlie was very helpful directing us for the lay of the land. The Inn is very comfortable, up to date yet still has the charm of an old house. My girlfriend and I laughed about the old floors. There was no way you could sneek up on someone, not like in the movies.
Anyway, the place is great and more importantly Jan and Charlie are wonderful. Go, relax and enjoy this wonderful Inn in Sandwich.
