“Lovely Gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2012

The gardens are a lovely place to walk and photograph. They have shuttles for those who might not be able to manage all the walking, so it's very accessible. The museums were interesting - a nice day trip. There are bathrooms, a gift shop and place to get food too.

“Beautiful Gardens”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2012

Enjoyed the beautiful gardens, antique cars, carosel ride, and Norman Rockwell exhibit. The gardens even had a long golf cart which provided rides from time to time through out the garden. Definately worth the visit. Helpful staff. AAA discount.

“Excellent place to take a quiet stroll”

This was my fourth time visiting and they get better and better everytime. The Rockwell exhibit was truly amazing and worth the price of admission alone.

“A must see in rhododendron Season,”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2012

WOW, My wife loves rhododendrons and we where there when the plants were glorious. It is a breath taking display, also very very well maintained.
The car collection was a pleasant addition as was the Norman Rockwell exhibit that was featured this spring.
We also enjoyed the many garden gates being shown on the grounds.
The cafe has good people and good food for a reasonable price and the same is true of the souvenir shop.
There is tonnes of room to roam about so if you had some kids that needed chance to run around and explore the wooded trails this would be a good stop too.
The real heart of the museum was the rhododendrons, they just don't grow like that here.

“Nice visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2012

Heritage Garden was a lovely place to visit. The car museum was very cool (my hubby loved it), the small art museum was fantastic. It was very focused on folk art. The gardens were very large, clean, full of rhodedendrens blossomimg. I was expecting more formal gardens to walk through, slightly dissaponted by that. The small cafe that served lunch was out of this world, food was fabulous and we spent less then 15$ for two for lunch. The gift shop is the reason I'm giving 4/5 stars. It was so expensive that I went to the gift shop @ the glass museum down the road to get a souvenier !
