Our family of four (children ages 9-12) stayed in this wonderful cottage for six nights. It is a historic home within walking distance (10-15 minutes) from a beautiful bayside beach, and from some nice shops and restaurants across the street. The cottage is in excellent condition, has good privacy, and is very clean. If you are looking for a location on the Cape that will allow you to explore all of the sites on the Cape, plus steal away to Boston for a day, then you would be hard-pressed to find a better location than Sandwich. It is within a short drive of the Sagamore Bridge, and approximately 1.5 hours from Provincetown with light traffic (make sure you go out on a whale watch with the Dolphin Fleet Whale Watching company in Provincetown; we saw over 20 humpbacks and one rare finback whale on our trip). The owner was very easy to work with, and communicative before, during, and after our stay. We would definitely stay here again for future trips, and would recommend it to any family or couple looking for a relaxing, affordable getaway.
My family and I stayed in June for a couple of nights. The home was perfect. Just as described and it exceed our expectations. It's located in center of everything. The beach and plenty of restaurants are all walking distance. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond to my many questions.
