We enjoy winter nights by the large stone fireplace (Thursday - Sunday) for their prime rib, a giant portion for a reasonable price. The onion soup is the best I've tasted and the chicken livers Marsala are amazing - an appetizer size order of the chicken livers and the onion soup, and you won't be hungry! You can also get burgers, pizza and smaller items if you don't want a big meal. In the spring/summer/fall months they are open all week and the bar usually has golfers from the 9 hole golf course. They also do catering and events - my husband's high school reunion was there last year, and it was a terrific event. We attended a Harpoon Beer dinner last month (they do one or two a year) and the food was excellent, including items not usually the menu, such as miso soup, stuffed baked tomato, perppercorn and beer roasted pork tenderloin, and cinnamon apple ice cream. Each food course was paired with a different beer. The head chef/owner "Mitch" runs an excellent kitchen and makes sure that everyone feels welcome.
