If you ever plan to stay in Rockport Ma,and you want relaxation,a place thats quaint and cozy, and want a delicious fresh homemade gourmet breakfast. Then this is the place to stay. You couldnt ask for a more charming place. The rooms are exceptionally bright, tastefully decorated and clean. The outside area has a patio where you can be served a homemade gourmet breaksfast or lounge under their pergola drinking a glass a wine while listening to tranquil sound of the water fountain from the pond. There is an indoor porch as well for those drizzley days.
The surrounding town is just as quaint as the inn. You can take a short walk too the stores or too the beach.Everything is in walking distance. Stephanie and Jay are a wealth of information as well funny and warm. You will not be disappointed.
I have stayed here several times and each time I visit I see can see the aesthetically pleasing upgrades. They truely are the perfect innkeepers.

Stephanie and Jay were absolutely amazing hosts. From the fresh, homemade pastries in our room every afternoon, to the incredible breakfasts (we are still raving about Stephanie's breakfast pizza), to the quaint and tastefully decorated rooms, we absolutely LOVED our stay at Changing Tides B&B. Rockport was beautiful and such a perfect place to visit in the Fall- I wish we could have stayed for much longer. I highly recommend Changing Tides to anyone looking to visit this area, as Stephanie and Jay will make you feel like family and will make you never want to leave!

Our first visit to Rockport was truly enhanced with a stay at Changing Tides. So glad we chose this particular inn. It is conveniently located within walking distance to town, shops and restaurants. During busy times, this is critical as parking spaces fill up quickly.
Stephanie greeted us and showed us around the inn. We were given suggestions for the best places for dining and then we were off on topic tangents we both enjoyed. Why anyone would choose a hotel over a B&B when visiting a new town is something I question- especially when someone like Stephanie shares her living space with such a welcome. The inn is bright, cheerful and homey and the incredible breakfast is prepared fresh by Stephanie who is truly a chef in disguise!
Thank you Stephanie for your welcome. And remember... "I agree with you". Lol.

There are B&Bs that are nice and then there are B&Bs which offer a Bed and a Breakfast that are hard to describe in words, as the first is enjoyed in sound sleep, making it impossibel to speak and write, and the second enjoyed in tasting a daily newly designed and freshly prepared breakfast, making it impossible to speak, in everything well taken care of by our hosts' Jay's and Stephanie's kind hospitality. Stephanie is Rockport's Breakfast Wizard: she asks that you come down at 8:30 in the morning. You can stay in bed a bit longer, of course, but you will then miss a sublime breakfast (don't worry, it will be waiting for you). But Changing Tides B&B offers the mouthwatering experience of enjoying a fresh breakfast right out of the oven or from the stove - taste and ingest it, and you will forget everything, and perhaps even everyone, around you as you are enveloped in culinary morning delight your taste buds will never forget. You can go back to bed after breakfast if you want: by the time you are done breakfasting, your bed and room and bathroom are clean and ready. Otherwise, there is plenty to explore in and around Rockport, and Jay and Stephanie are happy to provide good tips and suggestions for day trips, interesting sites, and fine places to have dinner (you can have home made cookies before you venture out for dinner - they are waiting for you on your room). And when the day comes to its and with a cup of tea or other beverage and good company on the deck, you climb the stairs, go into your bedroom and you into your comfortable bed for a night of sound sleep - to be awakened by the most wonderful and delicious scents coming from the kitchen in the morning... This is a Bed and Breakfast where both bed and breakfast are simply sublime.

Changing Tides is a lovely place to stay, clean, cosy and comfortable with lots of space to relax and enjoy the quiet town of Rockport. Stephanie and Jay were incredibly helpful with local advice for eating out and scenic places to visit and even gave us freshly baked cookies on arrival. Our room, the Captain's Quarters, was quiet, clean and warm, with a very comfy bed. Sitting outside on swings or on the porch was great, and breakfast was amazing. A perfect stay.
