We met Stephanie and Jay and immediately knew we found the right B&B. They were great hosts. We got a tour of the house and when we asked a history of their home, built in 1855. All updates fit in well. Our room was large, beautiful and spotless. The bed was comfortable and when we commented Stephanie said it had a new mattress
A 5 minute walk to town and later for dinner at a great restaurant that Stephanie had booked for us. Later a fire pit outside warmed the evening air as we got to know them and another couple.Breakfast of blueberry pancakes and bacon completed our great experience

Stephanie and Jay were so wonderful! I wish we would have been able to stay the whole week we were in Massachusetts! The listing was as described, the location couldn't have been better - just a short walk to Bearskin Neck and the neighborhood was lovely. Stephanie made amazing food, conversation was easy with both of them, and their Changing Tides Bed & Breakfast was so comfortable and beautiful. Even their yard was immaculate and beautiful. We spent the evening out by the fire in their backyard on hammock swings. Loved it! The room, Captain's Quarters, is even cuter than the picture! She's rearranged a bit and I loved it. The bed was comfy, everything was very clean, and oh, her food! Did I mention the food? ;) All homemade and even homegrown ingredients. Thank you again Stephanie and Jay! You were very welcoming, and made us feel like we were visiting friends or family. It was enchanting!

Stephanie and Jay are extremely welcoming, personable, and genuine. Their Bed and Breakfast feels like a home away from home in the wonderful beach community of Rockport! The stay had everything I needed including a spacious room decorated with a "Beachcomber" motif, and thus the name of the room! The sunlight windows were perfect for lighting the room and hearing the sea breeze in the mornings! Stephanie is a wonderful cook making a scrumptious breakfast both days of my stay, not to mention your mid afternoon baked treat left outside your room! On the first night of my stay I joined Stephanie and Jay in their backyard for an evening bonfire. This was an excellent way to get to know them and more about Rockport, They are experts after all! If you're coming to Rockport stay here! You won't regret it!

Room Tip: Both rooms are wonderful!

Stephanie and Jay are the perfect hosts and have really set such a high standard for the rest of our trip in New England. From our arrival, we received a very warm welcome, which continued throughout our stay. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters room which was clean, bright and beautifully furnished with good quality linen. The bed itself was extremely comfortable and we slept very well over the course of our two night stay. The bathroom is located immediately next door to the room, and again was kept immaculate throughout our stay. Attention to detail, first class. Towels, beautifully soft and well presented were changed throughout our stay. Stephanie has really thought through what her guests may require to make their stay as comfortable as possible, and these little touches make a difference. What sets Stephanie apart from any other bed and breakfast we have stayed at are her fabulous skills as a cook. On arrival, we were met with freshly baked cookies, and the following morning to come down to a sumptuous cooked breakfast, home made sausage patties, herb scrambled eggs and seasoned potatoes - out of this world!! with fresh fruit, croissants, home made jams and juices.....it really was a wow factor!! It really did set us up for the day and on our return from a long day walking and sight seeing, we came back to again to be met by warm freshly baked cookies. Stephanie and Jay have a beautiful and very comfortable home, and they are they are such lovely people and hosts. Moreover, the b&b is perfectly located for all the wonderful amenities and sights that Rockport has to offer. You will have a wonderful stay with Stephanie and Jay at Changing Tides, and would thoroughly recommend.
