Just spent 2 days in Rockport, MA at the Seafarer Inn. It's a beautiful bed & breakfast in New England right on the coast with the sunrise visible from your room and a short walk along the coast to town. The owners are doing some improvements right now which in no way interfered with the service or our comfort. We stayed in the Long Beach room. It was immaculately clean, the bed and linens were very comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, and there are no words to describe how beautiful the views are. Trust me. You will love it! We can't wait to get back.

Room Tip: The Long Beach Room is our favorite room on the third floor; however, Beth and Chris showed us through the entire bed and breakfast. There isn't a bad choice in terms of comfort and views.

We can’t wait to have you back! Most of the construction is complete now. The new porch is finished and the new fireplace in the living room is working and cozy as can be.

The new owners could not have been more gracious and hospitable. Even though this inn was in transition,(owners and construction), I felt that I was in a five star luxury hotel. Everything was spotless, views from all windows to die for, breakfast was well planned and presented beautifully. I hope to visit as often as possible. It's not easy describing perfection.

It was a pleasure meeting Dolores. Toni and I made a friend and would have stayed longer if we could. Though we stayed at the end of the innkeeper's proprietorship, there was no compromise in hospitality or service.

Breakfast was a revelation and the views from our room breathtaking. Meeting new people in the atmosphere of an authentic inn made the brief stay memorable, not just pleasurable.

We recently took a last minute trip to Rockport, Ma. So last minute that we couldn't find a room.
Thankfully another inn keeper directed us to Dolores at the Seafarer Inn. She was so gracious and accomodating. The view of the ocean from this inn is spectacular and the street is lovely. There is a 3/4 mile walk into town and a small beach down the road. The price was reasonable, although Dolores wasn't serving breakfast during our stay which she was very upfront in letting us know this. She was also having trouble with the cable company, so there wasn't any television, which was fine because there was plenty of things to do in Rockport. There was internet service. I think some of this was due to the fact her husband recently passed away. The room was modest but comfortable and the large bath with a claw foot tub, was down the hallway. It is an older home but that is what make it so reasonable and cozy. We would definately stay there again.

My wife and I have been going to Rockport for a long time and we have stayed at the Seafarer for the last ten years. We have stayed in a variety of rooms, all comfortable with great views. The location is great for a quiet ocean view and a cliff walk into town. The hosts are personable, very helpful and great conversationalists. All of this at reasonable prices. Hard to ask for more.

Room Tip: The Captains Quarters on the second floor. Large room with both north and east views.
