“The Beech Tree Inn is FABULOUS!!”
Reviewed June 12, 2006

Last week, my husband and I returned to the Beech Tree Inn in Rockport, Mass. for our second visit and were overwhelmingly pleased with our experience. The Inn is beautiful, clean and comfortable and the inn keepers, Rus and Judy are the ultimate hosts. They both went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was an enjoyable one. And to top it all off, the breakfasts were fabulous and the afternoon homemade goodies a real treat! All of this, and the Inn is within walking distance to charming downtown Rockport. Yet again, we both HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Beech Tree Inn.

We have traveled extensively and stayed at many B&B's. Beech Tree is head and shoulders above the rest:

- The house is a beautifully restored 1980's colonial. No detail was overlooked in the restoration.

- The house and especially our suite were immaculately clean.

- The food was great tasting and there was plenty of it.

- Our hosts were very helpful - not only suggesting local places to visit but supplying brochures and maps.

I recomend the Beech Tree highly to anyone visiting Cape Ann.

My boyfriend and I (in our mid-twenties) were lucky enough to find this amazing bed and breakfast in the heart of Rockport, just a quick stroll to the shops and ocean. The intimate setting provides quiet time alone in a serene environment that is Rockport. The owners, Judy and Russ, were professional, hospitable, FRIENDLY and served a delicious breakfast (included) on the terrace....think homemade granola, fruit, yogurt, bacon and french toast with pineapple compote on our given morning. All in all, we were thoroughly pleased with our experience from our warm welcome, to the luxurious linens, exceptional recommendations and pleasantries. Thank you for going out of your way to make our stay so memorable; we look forward to returning soon and thought it the perfect place to rent out and bring along our parents. In our opinion, he other inns in the surrounding area can not compare to this fine establishment! ~A & E

Russ and Judy have taken pride in restoring this lovely 3 bedroom b&b. This place is beautiful and up to date. They have wonderful sheets and gorgeous bathrooms, as well as a manicured garden which serves a glorious breakfast. They are a lovely couple that enjoy sharing their home which is located in a good spot for exploring the area. Would stay there again in a flash.

My husband and were lucky enough to stay at the Beech Tree Inn while visiting Rockport, Massachusetts and just fell in love with the place. The owners went out of their way many times over to see that we were not only well-fed and taken care of, but also well informed about where we might like to go, and what we might enjoy visiting in the area.

Our room was immaculate, the beds are great, the breakfasts amazingly varied and delicious. Generous with their time and efforts, Judy and Russ are delightful people, quick to share their extensive knowledge about the area. The Inn itself has been wonderfully restored and is aesthetically pleasing, as well as being fantastically well-situated to enjoy all of the North Shore. Ask for the room with heated tiles in the adjoining bathroom...it's a real treat!

We've already enthusiastically recommended this Inn to many of our friends. Additionally, it was a real bargain, far less than many B&B's we've stayed in all over the Northeast. Rockport itself is a charming little town and a great get-away place.

Deep within the fall oct 05 my girlfriend and i headed into the costal town of Rockport MA. After almost 2wks on the road we were looking forward to some much needed peace and relaxation b4 we headed back to our lives in the uk. And how lucky we were to stumble upon the fabulous beech tree inn just off the main street, leading towards the bustling water front and street life! To be perfectily brief, the beechtree was so welcoming and cosy that we did not want to leave, the filling breakfasts and welcome you recieve from the hosts russ and judy simply add too a perfect stay, we stayed for 4 days in the end! all rooms are finished to a fantastic standard and the best suprise of all was the price! which was v reasonable....Mr N davis.Kingsdown. kent.uk

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful long weekend at the Beech Tree Inn in Rockport, MA. I cannot say enough good things about this inn....the interior of the inn is immaculate and extremely well-decorated, the breakfast and afternoon brownies were scrumptious and the innkeepers friendly, warm and most importantly professional. It is obvious that Judy and Rus (the innkeepers) have paid great attention to detail...the rooms were beautifully designed, the towels were plush, the linens were exquisite, the breakfasts were delicious and innovative and the landscaping was impressive. What more can I say? If you are looking for a beautiful inn in charming Rockport, look no further. You cannot find a better place to stay in Rockport...and did I mention that it is reasonably priced and centrally located? [--]
