“Home away from home!”

If you are considering a B&B in the Cape Ann MA area I want to assure you that you can NOT go wrong with staying at the Seacrest Manor! My husband and I stayed at Seacrest mid July and were completely satisfied in every possible way.......breakfast was outstanding, every aspect of the B&B was spotless, Pat and her staff were incredibly welcoming and location is convenient to many popular sights and activities! This B&B is truly a gem as is Pat who is the innkeeper, very meticulous and attentive to our needs! Our stay genuinely made us feel like we were "home away from home"! We could NOT have had a better experience, high complements to Pat and her staff and as a result we plan on returning again!

A number of years ago I was going to Cape Ann for a somber family event. I was not planning to have a stay that would bring me back year after year to the Seacrest Manor. The excellent location, beautifully maintained grounds, and total cleanliness of ALL of the rooms is only surpassed by the amazing Innkeeper. Open and friendly if you like, or efficient and totally business if you prefer, Pat is the epitome of what a great hostess should be. And not only that, she is an amazing cook. The breakfast choices are always with the freshest of foods and made especially for you. The grounds are well manicured and provide for quiet relaxation with a beautiful sea breeze. The diverse rooms (some with your own deck looking out to the ocean) are spotless. What started out as a quiet weekend has turned into our getaway location with all the amenities you could ask for, including location, location, location......and Pat.

Our visit to Seacrest Manor was outstanding from the time we walked in the door until we left three days later. Pat is an innkeeper extraordinaire! She is pleasant, helpful, friendly, and an excellent cook! (The omelet I had the first morning we were there was one of the best omelets I've had in years.) The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable (although the mattress was a little on the hard side and the bed creaked getting in and out). The public sitting areas inside the building were spacious and comfortable, with wonderful views of the ocean and Thacher Island. The grounds were immaculate and stunningly beautiful. The inn is located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, and is convenient to both downtown Rockport and Gloucester. And the staff are all very nice, accommodating, and helpful. All in all, we had a fantastic time and can heartily recommend Seacrest - it's a great experience from beginning to end!

Room Tip: Rooms 7 & 8 each have a private entrance onto the second floor balcony, with stunning views of t...

My husband and I brought our two children, ages 9 and 7, to Seacrest Manor for a four day weekend. We had two rooms next to each other in a private corridor. The rooms were perfectly appointed, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the inn-keeper so accommodating and wonderful. My brother and his girlfriend also came for the weekend- we hope to come back with more family.
The breakfasts were delicious, and the common areas were comfortable, welcoming, and relaxing. We could see the close ocean from the deck where we drank wine at sunset, as the children played peacefully on the excellently manicured grounds - there were even two hammocks that the kids (and us too!) could swing in while reading.
We visited for a beach vacation, but even with rain te first day in town, the inn-keeper, Pat, gave us plenty of options to do. We went to visit Nearby Salem witch museums, and the ice factory right in town. On the sunny days, we enjoyed uncrowned beaches, went kayaking, and sailing - before coming home to such a hospitable B&B. We will be back to Seacrest Manor soon!

We recently stayed at this B&B for two nights. When we arrived we were greeted by Pat, the owner. She was so warm and helpful throughout our stay. She made us feel very much at home. Breakfast was great. We would go back in a minute.

Room Tip: Loved room 8 as it has deck overlooking ocean.

We stayed here on two separate occasions, in 2010 and 2011 (I know we should have written something sooner but kept procrastinating). While the property is absolutely beautiful, the rooms elegant and immaculate and the breakfast superb, what brought us back (and will certainly be the reason we return again) was the owner, Pat. She is a warm, welcoming and gracious person, always there to make sure your stay is comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. My wife and I always remember our first stay when we had our picture taken with Pat on the landing of the stairway and as we said our good-byes, we all had tears in our eyes. And as we returned for our 2nd visit, there in our room was a home-made cake for our 27th wedding anniversary. Nothing more needs to be said!

Pat, the innkeeper is definitely one of the Best of the Best! She was so lovely and hospitable, making sure everything was just perfect for us - it was my 70th birthday! The Manor is immaculate and very nicely decorated with a library and large living room with plenty of windows, comfortable chairs and plenty of magazines. There is a deck on the second floor with views of the ocean and a small deck in the back. The grounds are so nice to stroll in, watch the wild turkeys and bunnies and look at the gardens ~ don't forget to check out the beautiful, old tree by the front entryway. Breakfast was delicious with two choices and a lovely presentation. We walked through the neighborhood and a garden path along the water into Rockport, where we spent the afternoon perusing the small shops, harbor, Motif I, etc. Drove into Gloucester and took the harbor water taxi, getting off to explore various neighborhoods, artist's shops, a stop at "Kiss on the Neck" for yummy Richardson's ice cream. The Manor is in a beautiful and very convenient location. We highly recommend Pat and the Seacrest Manor and look forward to a return trip!
