From the panoramic view from atop the Fire Tower through the trails and finally the ocean's edge from above the rocks and then at the surf, just tranquil and breathtaking. Great place to get lots of Vitamin N (nature), clear your head, and find peace surrounded by nature's beauty.

Breathtaking views. Easy hike. Perfect way to spend the afternoon on vacation. Great way to unwind, beautiful pictures. Parking easy, didn't get much info from visitor center though. Didn't need it.

It was a beautiful place to go for a walk and sit by the ocean, particularly in the fall. Parking was only $2, such a bargain.

You are getting a little sick of shut downs. With all the federal shut downs we came here because it was a state park. We get to the parking station and the machine that dispenses parking tickets took our money twice, and didn't give us a ticket. Thankfully a nice lady gave us her ticket as she was leaving. We went to do the walk and of course there are no pamphlets. There was an application for our cell phone to get a guided tour.....you might have guessed it.....our cell phones didn't work inside the park. We walked to ocean loop and when we got to the end of that we were outside the park with no directions to get to the parking lot. Another nice local directed us to the parking lot. I don't know what they don't have signs up for that information since they don't have pamphlets.

On the tip of Cape Ann, just outside picturesque Rockport, Massachusetts, is the remains of quarry, and a spectacular vista of the ocean. Waves crashing against the rocks, peaceful water which filled the quarry, a glimpse into the past of New England. Very short and easy hike in from the parking lot.
