Lovely way to spend an affordable afternoon. The drive to the vineyard is breathtaking. Once you get there, you can enjoy the views sitting outside on the many adirondack chairs. Marie was super nice and helped us select our wines. The hard cider is amazing.Even the crackers were delicious!!! Well worth the trip!!

“A Winery in the Berkshires- Woo Hoo!”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Pick your own apples and taste all the locally made wines. This was loads of fun- I enjoyed the company of the wine server and other patrons, and the wine maker introduced himself as well. Everything felt very easy and welcoming. One couple got a cheese plate and glass of wine and sat out on the porch overlooking the orchards.

Most of the grapes come from Long Island but the wine is made on the premises. They do make an apple ice wine from their own orchards in years when the Winter is cold enough, but this wasn't available in August 2012. The wines are all in a very clean, likeable style, and the variety runs from blanc de blanc (sparkling), chardonay and dry riesling to merlot, zin and cabernet. Dessert wines and semi-sweet options include riesling, mead, hard cider and sparkling muscat.

This winery is a quick drive from Lenox, Stockbridge or Pittsfield. It's a little further from Lee, Williamstown or Great Barrington, but still worth a visit.

“Great wine, great conversation, awesome donuts”
Reviewed August 7, 2012 via mobile

Great wine tasting, great conversation but cider donuts were awesome!! A must stop and must have if you are in the area. But, grapes are not local, but wines were very good.

“Great Wine!”
Reviewed February 6, 2012

We stopped in here quickly at the end of our trip to get some wine. They offered a few free tastings, but they were nice enough to give us a couple extra tastings for free too! We also bought an apple cider donut, which was SO good. I wish we had bought more. They also sold canned jams, jellies, fruit butters, relishes, and veggies. They had some great looking pies as well! Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely go back!
