“It's just a beach...”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

Great to go for a walk on the sidewalk. The sand is really dirty. The highlight of the beach is Kelly's Roast Beef. No other real reason to go there. There are much better, cleaner beaches in the area.

“Just a short subway ride from downtown Boston”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

If you need a relaxing break from the city sights, Revere Beach is just a short subway ride away. A beautiful, long, quiet beach, it's a nice place to soak up the sun and unwind or go for a great walk along the beach. The water didn't look very nice and there was lots of seaweed and so was not very inviting for a swim. The sand is lovely and we enjoyed seeing the remnants of the sand castle competion held the previous weekend.

“Much improved over the years”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

This beach is improving-- with dunes forming and it's being kept cleaner, plus the excellent work they've done on the sidewalks. All in all it is much improved from years ago!

“OK beach”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

This is a very long beach. There are many food & ice cream shops on the other side. The sand is very nice but the beach is very dirty with bad smell of seaweeds. The water is dark color. The sand under the water looks like mud and very dirty. The beach is nice for walking but I wouldn’t swim in it.

“Great for Revere.”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

It's much nicer than what I expected. It's accessible by the subway, and during the summer, it gets pretty crowded, especially on weekends. On the bright side, there's usually a ton of vendors and people selling things like fresh fruit.
