“Great for Revere.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

It's much nicer than what I expected. It's accessible by the subway, and during the summer, it gets pretty crowded, especially on weekends. On the bright side, there's usually a ton of vendors and people selling things like fresh fruit.

“it's better than it once was but still.. yuk”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2012

Okay.. so I haven't heard of medical waste washing up on revere beach in a long time, but that doesn't make this place a destination for me or my family.

The ONLY good thing about this beach is it's proximety to boston.

“Sand/Water and Traffic”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

As the oldest public beach in the country, one expects maybe there would be somehting unique about it. Not so. The traffic in mid-day is annoying, the beach was fairly clean and any type of amusement or entertainment on the strip is non existant. The bathrooms (3 for about two miles) are old and at the end of the day, not a nice place to visit.

“Nice place to walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2012

You must stop at Kelley's Roast Beef. The food is excellent! Clams, shrimp, chicken dinner, onion rings, etc. I get a grilled hot dog are a good buy and they are great. The clam rolls are very good. The menu is huge there should be something that you are craving. They have at least three locations. Kelley's is famous in this area. Worth the trip! Enjoy
