We stayed at this hotel for the airport shuttle service. When we arrived, the outside looked very scary. The hotel is not in the best part of town. The outside and the lobby are very run down. However, when we got to our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The room is updated and clean. The bedding was fresh and crisp. I think this is a good place for a one night stay and airport service.
Too expensive for its class, interior was too shabby justify its rating, too close to the main road with poor sound insulation and as a result too noisy. With the windows closed the A/C was almost deafening.
This hotel price-gouges jet lagged travellers. We booked this hotel in April, specifically requesting a room at the back of the hotel. When we arrived we were given a main road facing room. We were told that there were no rear rooms available because other longer-staying guests had bagged them. When we pointed out we had requested a rear facing room we were told that the room allocations were not made in April!! Worst excuse ever.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights and actually asked to be moved to a room facing the other side of the hotel because of the incredible noise coming from american legion highway.if you ask for even numbered rooms away from the stairwells you will get a good nights sleep. Everybody at the reception desk was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The shuttle service worked extremely well, dropping us off at the airport and the T as many times as we wanted. By T, it takes about 30 min to get to downtown Boston. There are few restaurants in the immediate area, but the shuttle will take you to Ihop or Pizzahut.
Good value in a very expensive city.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel east side of Boston try the Rodeway. there is a free pick up/drop off bus, we were picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel, then taken to a local restaurant , then dropped off and picked up at the beach and that was all on our first day! On the second day we were taken to the train station then later picked up and taken back to hotel. On the 3rd day we were taken to the cruise port to embark our ship at a cost of only 10$ each. There is free internet and also free tea & coffee at reception. The staff were helpful. Not a lot to do in the area besides the beach but the train takes you into downtown Boston and there is plenty to do there. Entrance to hotel a bit shabby and rooms at the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy from the traffic, the rooms were a good size and clean, ours had a microwave & fridge/freezer. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay and don’t mind travelling into town by train, check this hotel out.
When I started looking at prices for hotels near Boston, I almost aborted our trip. Then I found this place. The room was spacious, everything clean, service excellent. Any questions about touring Boston were answered clearly and correctly. The shuttle service was always prompt for our group of 6, whether we were heading for the nearest T stop or to or from the airport.
