“Pleasant surprise.”

You don't expect a lot of a chain hotel near a major airport, but this Hampton Inn was a very pleasant surprise. From the helpful front desk staff to the clean and modern room to the shuttle driver who went the extra mile to be helpful even at five in the morning, everything about this experience was better than expected. They even had "breakfast bags" for us since we were leaving before the breakfast buffet was open. Also, their park and fly package for nearby Logan Airport was very competitively priced. Judging by this location, Hampton Inn has its act together.

My family loves this hotel because it has a great location that makes it accessible to Boston and the beach at Revere. They serve a free breakfast and have a little restaurant on site. They also have a shuttle service to the airport and T. We like to get a one bedroom suite so we have two televisions and more space. The free parking is a great perk as well. There's a shopping center across the street with Target, a grocery store and Wendy's which is very convenient. The only disappointment I had this trip was that this hotel is a popular stop with the airline crews and they bypassed me although I was in line first to get a crew checked in. The rates in winter are best, although the pool water temperature is a bit chilly for that time of year.

What a nice start to my vacation! After a very pleasant ride on the shuttle, the staff gave us a warm welcome and had my fax that had been forwarded ready for me. A nice clean room awaited. We had drinks in the lounge/restaurant and would have stayed for dinner but had reservations elsewhere. The next morning, although very busy. tables for the buffet breakfast were cleaned quickly and the food plentiful. Later, for a fee we were shuttled to the cruise port. I would return here again and started relaxing the minute I arrived at this hotel.

Stayed 3 nights on a Priceline reservation in early November. Typical Hampton Inn with clean facilities, pleasant rooms and nice breakfast. It's the staff that make this place special. From check-in to check-out was impressed by the quality of service. The best part was the shuttle service to nearby Italian restaurants. Used it once for dinner and once for lunch both ways and it was terrific. Certainly recommend.

I stay at this hotel about 2-3 times per year when I visit Boston for business. I usually only stay here on the last night of my trips due to the convenient location near Logan Airport. The rooms are always clean and the rate is generally not that expensive compared to other Boston area hotels. The hotel is usually busy since there are lots of people that stay because of the location and shuttle service to the airport. They have a shuttle that will take you to an area with several very good restaurants and will come back and pick you up afterwards. This is especially handy when you have already dropped off your rental car or if you would like to have dinner with some drinks and not have to worry with driving back to the hotel afterwards.

I will continue to support this establishment on my return trips to Boston.

The hotel is an average Hampton Inn so why so much per night? There's nothing special here? Luckily my company rate was less but I heard the front desk quoting $289 without tax and fees. As mentioned by other reviews it's located in a sketchy area with nothing around it for restaurants or entertainment. It does have a small, one room restaurant which as you can imagine is very busy all the time since no one wants to leave the area at night. Food was okay but slow. Has a very small workout room that becomes crowded with three people in it. I used it for the same purpose as others and that was one night in and out which is as long as I would ever stay. That's if I come back.

We arrived on a flight from LHR to BOS mid-evening: the hotel shuttle was very efficient after phoning the hotel. Checked in...good clean room and good bed...adequate breakfast the following morning (no frills: paper plates but all you can eat.) Helpful and friendly staff...and a shuttle driver who dropped us off at Avis rent a car on his way to the airport the following morning. This 1st night in the US for my wife and I did all we could ask...
