Another stay and another 5 star review. We stayed for a week. everything was great from the friendly welcome to the big free brefest with hot and cold cereal, waffle, fruit, bagels and a lot of other things. We also loved the view and the short walk to town.

As they say in real estate, they got the location. Its location is worth 1,000 words.
Rooms are okay, but choose this for the view and location, not because you want to be at Marriott or Four Seasons.

Rooms are nice, clean and have doors opening to the bay. Of course, remember that the view is of EAST, meaning you get nice sunrise, so if you are not an early riser, the curtains are nicely closed.

Breakfast was good too.

This is a great place to stay, if your looking for 5 star lodging you won't find it in Provincetown.
This hotel is an aging gem, rooms were certainly dated but everything in the room worked and the rooms were clean. There is a small beachfront there and a huge pool that was alot of fun.
They served food and drinks poolside til 5 pm daily. They also served an awesome extended continental breakfast every morning. I look forward to staying with them in my future trips to Provincetown.

Room Tip: the rooms facing the water are awesome, so peaceful to watch the tide go in and out

This is an old hotel, with some Cape Cod charm and character. I was there for a wedding, and the food was good, in the restaurant and at the reception. The staff were pleasant. The problem is that the facility has not been updated in decades. (Actually, the key cards for the rooms were modern.) The room itself was small and dated. If you opened the dresser drawer to far, it fell on the floor. The bathroom was one of the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. The shower curtain was on a tension rod, that came down after the second shower. Asking the front desk to put it back up was no help; they seem to be very short staffed. Calls to the front desk went to voice mail. The location is great, but the beach is a public beach and the pool seemed to be open to anyone and everyone -- always crowded. The parking lot was not staffed, so it was full if the weather was nice.

Room Tip: Find out if any rooms have been updated in recent years.

My wife & I recently had to visit P'town for a day trip. The event we were attending was at the Provincetown Inn. We decided to get a room so that we could rest our eyes for a few hours and take a shower. We asked the gentlemn at the front desk if they did half day rates but he said they did not. We got the room anyway.

The room was a little pricey considering how small and dated it was.

I won't comment on the hotel/room that much as we didn't really stay there. What we were pleasantly pleased about was that a few days later when we were checking our credit card statement, they credited us for half of the price of the room. We were shocked but vowed to write a good review about them.

I have stayed here with friends for many years. it is a clean, comfortable and well run friendly place. Historically, this location is adjacent to the real first stop the Pilgrims made before heading to Plymouth. It is the end of Rt 6 (which goes all the way to California), and at the very tip of Cape Cod. The Walter Gropius house on the ridge across the street is stunning enough as its own destination (an architectural masterpiece recently restored). The hotel is older, but has been updated, and really is a good value compared to what is in town. The pool is open to all and is a nice spot for the day with its bar and snack/lunch grill. The included breakfast is very good and has a large selection with waffles, etc. Very few places offer this even at the pricey bed and breakfasts in town. Granted, this is not a Hliton, if you want that-dont come to Cape Cod.

Room Tip: Have stayed in the main building and in the outer area with inlet/moors view. I prefer the main bldg...

A weekend wedding of a friend brought us to the Provincetown Inn, where the reception was held and where most of the wedding guests stayed.
The reception, outdoors under a tent on the Provincetown Inn grounds was beautiful.
The lobby of the hotel also was nice, bar was ok, continental breakfast was adequate. The rooms were terrible. They are OLD, with a desperate need of upgrading, there were more stains on the carpet then I had ever seen in a hotel room. The bed broke when we sat down on it, that was after knocking down the spider web and evicting its inhabitants. Bathrooms are TINY and also in need of an upgrade. The ridiculous $200+ per night you are being (over)charged is because of the location NOT because of any extraordinary accommodations.
F.Y.I. There is no elevator.
Would we go back?... Not a chance
