Arrived as the off season began and everyone was shutting down. Was told by a local to come here. Looked it up on Trip Advisor and saw a $166 per nite special.
We hadn't planned on staying here as we were actually staying in Newport and opted to drive to P-town to try to catch a whale watch cruise. The young man who checked us in was not overtly friendly, acting as if we were a bit of a bother. When I asked the price for the night, I was quoted $200+. When I showed him the Trip Advisor coupon, he stated that he had no idea what that was. Nor did he call anyone to find out. He brought the pride down a bit, but said that he didn't have anymore of the rooms that were in the special. Quick thinking, huh? To go from not knowing anything about the coupon to knowing that "those rooms" were taken.
We asked about a massage from the Spa. We called while waiting to check in and were told that there was no availability. However, we were never told about the other amenities in the spa that we could use.
We were advised about breakfast and Wine and Cheese at 5PM, but nothing else.
The room was cute. The Jacuzzi tub was a welcome site after walking 12,000 steps that day. The room was comfy.
The grounds were landscaped nicely and very relaxing. We were close to the happenings -within walking distance.
Overall, the stay was good. Breakfast was good. No issue getting egg whites.
Checking out, the experience with staff was different . Very friendly. I suspect that the owner was the person checking us out. He needs to give lessons to the young man....
Later when I looked online, the rooms available at this place are awesome. I hope with our next stay, the service is better.

Right from the beginning our experience was top notch. The front desk manager, John, was super friendly and showed us up to our beautiful rooms. We were upgraded to a room with a fire place which was lovely. There was great spa amenities available even if you didn't book a treatment, and though we didn't use them this time, we will next time! The property was beautiful and tranquil, especially being out of season. The wine and cheese hour was delicious and good quality. We did use the hot tub at night and that was fantastic. The breakfast in the morning was amazing for any breakfast, let alone a free, included breakfast. The eating area was sunny and bright and beautiful. I really just loved this place from start to finish. It is right off Commercial St so we didn't have an ocean view, which my husband really wanted, but everything else made up for it. Excellent, excellent stay and experience. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We started with a wonderful complimentary dip that we tried to re-create the following evening! The food selection was tremendous and it was cooked perfectly for all three of us. We will be back next time we are in P-Town. Don't pass up the opportunity to try this wonderful place.

The hotel is very nice. We chose an executive suite which consists of a oversize king size bed, a comfortable loveseat in front of a large screen tv and fireplace. It also has a large kitchenette which is fully equipped , and a good size bathroom with jacquzzi tub. We felt very comfortable with these accomodations. The grounds are nicely landscaped and there is a small pool. We really enjoyed the complimentry breakfast, which includes a choice of several cooked to order entrees and muffins, scone, bagels, juices and fresh fruit. There is also complimentry 5:00-6:00 p.m. wine, beer and crudities.
The staff was polite but not very friendly. No one smiled or made conversation. The housekeeping was marginal, the bed was made daily and toiletries replenished but other than that not much else was done. We waited for the carpet to be vacuum but it never happened. Beach towels were not replaced and a request for additional wash cloths went unanswered. The air condintioner was extremely noisy and it wasn't until the next morning that we discovered the light switch hidden behind a lamp that controlled the two overhead lights over our bed which burned brightly all night. A call to the front desk to question them about the switch took 20 minutes to answer at 7:00 a.m. With the rates the hotel charges, I would expect better service

My Fiance and I started our journey here at the Crowne Pointe in September of 2012. We have been back five more times since then upgrading each time to a different room type this beautiful Inn has to offer.
No matter the room size, you will be treated like a VIP- this place employs the best of the best! The restaurant is cozy and romantic and the service is four star! We will be returning October 11th to get ready for our big day.........

On October 12th we will be married at this beautiful place and can not wait! Our journey began here and we found it fitting to make it "official " here. Looking forward to having our family experience all this place has to offer.

I've stayed here twice and each time it was a pleasure. The staff is very attentive and the rooms are wonderful and clean. The grounds a re immaculate. I love the 5-6 pm happy hour with free beer and wine. The breakfast in the am is a treat as well. The location is just off the main drag. And easy to access. The pool is a little small, but a great way to meet new people! Make a date now! It's worth the price!

Room Tip: Get the room with a tun. Its a real treat
