We loved our stay Crowne Point! We just wanted to relax and slow down for a long weekend and could not have picked a better place. We stayed in one of the larger rooms on the ground level. The mattress wasn't as firm as we like but otherwise the room was well appointed. The food was delicious, the staff very helpful and friendly and the location could not be beat.
We will stay here again next year!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful mid-week getaway last Spring, and plan on returning.

Quite, cozy, yet close to the wonderful and friendly Provincetown atmosphere we have enjoyed for over 30 years.

The Crowne Point has an inviting, attentive, cooperative and friendly staff who are always ready to answer questions, and recommend P-town's most interesting shops and attractions.

Our dining experience was a culinary treat in a relaxed, romantic setting.

A great historic property set away from the over-the-top hustle and bustle of busy Commercial Street, but easily within walking distance.

Beautiful, quaint pool/spa area, charming suites and a gourmet restaurant with an intimate lounge area.

Always our first and only choice when staying in Provincetown.

The staff at the Crowne Point Historic Inn is very helpful and friendly (especially Michelle). When we had to cancel the last day of our stay at the last minute they waived any penalty.

Unfortunately this is the only good thing about the Inn. We found everything else quite disappointing. We stayed in room 104 which has no view whatsoever (one the one side is the staircase on the side the window is blocked with a wood panel). The room is very small and not worth the price (250USD/night). The rooms are very noisy (thin walls and quirky floor), we could hear everything going on in the room above and next to it. The bathroom is very tiny, which was not even the worst thing, but the water pressure was almost not existent.

Breakfast is indeed complimentary, but we had better.

All in all the Inn is lacking the charm that you would expect.

We would definitely not come back to this place and would prefer a smaller B&B with more charm.

Room Tip: Don't choose room 104!!!

We have rooms of all sizes and budgets. This guest booked our least expensive room and had many other choices of levels and amenities.

Our complimentary breakfast includes a choice of many cooked to order items as well as an assortment of fresh baked goods dails.

All room stays also include access to our on site Shui Spa, which includes a steamroom sauna and soaking tub.

we recommend crowne pointe inn in provincetown if you are looking for something a little more professional than the typical b&b on the cape. we received a great reception at the front desk when we arrived, very friendly service from all of the staff. the free breakfast each morning was really good, and we ate at the restaurant for dinner on our second night, everything was quite deliciious, including some of the best new england clam chowder we've ever had. some of the other rooms may or may not have been more spacious; as one other reviewer points out, everything in provincetown is pretty small. we booked through a hotels dot com deal, and got a room that was adequate, but definitely not roomy. still, it was perfectly clean, and the bed was comfortable. the flat screen tv/dvd player was small and in the upper corner of the room. it was almost made up for by the fact that there was a selection of free DVDs at the front desk … though not a lot of romantic choices for our anniversary getaway. it is a few blocks from the main walking section of provincetown, but close enough. we used the spa our second day there, and i think we both thought the massages got a score of about 82-85 out of 100. the mineral bath was nice, and the steam room certainly did its job, though the changing room left a lot to be desired; we ended up waiting twice (once to change to suits after the massage, and again after using the mineral bath and steam room) for a total of about 20 minutes, and this cost us an opportunity to partake in the free wine-and-cheese happy hour from 5-6pm. overall, we'd definitely recommend the stay; it was certainly a great value for what we paid.

Room Tip: check for deals; we got a good late fall rate on hotels dot com .

We have stayed at Crowne Pointe every time we have visited Provincetown. If you are looking for HUGE rooms, I don't believe you can find that out here. Most every accommodation is a historic building...which is part of the charm of being here. We are always treated like royalty by the staff...friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts are amazing here. A chef is standing by to make you something wonderful. There are always homemade pastries available as well as the basics like bagels and cereal if you prefer.
Most of our day is spent walking around Commercial street, just a block away.
They have one room set up for pets, so we brought our little dog this time...something we have always wanted to do. The room is wonderful. Large bath, love seat, gas fireplace, fridge, coffee pot. And they have a selection of DVDs and games for a rainy day activity. Not to mention free wifi.
They always have fresh- baked cookies out in the afternoon and wine and cheese in the evening.
The attention to detail in the decorating is wonderful. Feels very comfortable and clean. We have never been disappointed.

Had a great stay here. The patio area is very lush, welcoming and comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly, helpful and service-oriented. Breakfast is provided each morning with limited options, but it's well-prepared. The hotel is within walking distance of Commercial Street and Club Purgatory, which is a benefit for nightlife and shopping. Well located, nice views and a comfortable atmosphere.

My Pamper Me Three room came with a nice kitchenette, a whirlpool tub, working fireplace, a Keurig coffee 'pot' and a nice mini-bar selection. Also provided were metal utensils, ceramic cups, wine and martini glasses, very nice for a couple, or someone you're bringing to stay overnight! :) Very clean and well maintained.

Drawbacks:

The area that they provide for the breakfast is a little cramped and awkward. So you have to 'wait your turn' to get into the small lounge area to get your bagels and coffee. If there's more than two people trying to access the area, it's a crowd.

I'd recommend a room on the second floor. I was upgraded to a Pamper Me Three room (thank you!), but it was wedged on the side of a stairway leading up to the second level, and a laundry room underneath. Which meant that after a night of being out, I had the benefit of hearing the cleaning crew or guests banging up and down the stairs sharing the same wall as my bed, OR the laundry water running nonstop all day. I believe it was the Hamilton Room (202 I think), so if you avoid that room and opt for the second floor, you should have a pretty quiet stay.

The room had a shower and tub, which were glorious, but there was a window to the outside right there in the tub with you, and not a small one. This had a curtain on it, but it was a translucent (not opaque) curtain. This made me a little uncomfortable in that if I wanted to take a shower in the evening with the lights on in the bathroom, I had no indication of what people might see outside in the dark, especially at ground level. My solution was to take a shower in the dark, but still, should not have been an issue at all.

Be aware that the hotel expects half of your stay to be paid up front when you reserve, and has a fairly draconian cancellation policy - so be sure you're truly going if you book. A hold is put on your card for the rest of your stay balance when you check in, which is pushed through at checkout.

Ultimately, I would definitely stay here again, but I would more thoroughly check my other options. I question whether or not if it would have been better to stay at another establishment for roughly the same amount, and would I have gotten more. I felt I got a 'deal' since I received an upgrade, so I can only imagine that I'd be neutral or slightly disappointed if I had actually received the room I was supposed to get.

Room Tip: Go for a second floor, in a corner. You'll be away from the stairs and other rooms.
