“Pizza only thing decent”

Greek salad - a tossed sald with one solid piece of Feta cheese on it and they call it Greek- ha absolutely horrible. Burgers are frozen patties. The monument burger sounded sooo good-not. Pizza is the only thing that is decent, but there are many other better pizza joints in town. Look else where...

“Monument Burger!”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

We went to this restaurant as we are sick of those on the commercial street...too many gimmicks....
Expecting this to be a take away, we do not expect much. We saw some tables in the joint and decide to eat there rather than takeaway. We went in and the guy behind the counter was friendly.
I asked about the burger. He warned me it was big and it's a triple by -pass...
Trust me...it was 3 pieces of 8oz angus patty, cheese, fried onion rings, crispy bacon and thousand island sauce. It was a burger lovers' wet dream! The burger was juicy and you can feel the juice, fat and the sauce all comming in together! WOW!
Eating this burger can be a it messy but if you are a burger lover, this is not a problem!
My partner ordered the home made lasagne. It was huge, I got a feeling it was not really fresh but it was still very tasty! The lasagne also came with garlic bread... a serious waistline busting carb- suicide meal.
I would recommend anyone who wants a cheap take away kind of meal in province town with no gimmicks to go to this place. Fast yummy, filling and will get you ready to hit the town for the night!

“The pizza sauce was better than expected”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

For years during our vacation to P-town, we usually pick up a pizza from a place in Truro on Rt #6. On a whim, we stopped in at the House of Pizza for a couple of slices. The sauce was tangy, and the two toppings were excellent. In fact we opted to return twice during our vacation with no regrets. Based on the number of take-out customers we saw, this pizza place has a large following. The eight-inch pie was plenty for two persons (8 slices). Check it out.

“Super Casual Place for a Quick and Good Piece of Pie”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

We were in town for the afternoon and needed a quick place to pick up lunch and get on with our site seeing. We ordered slices of one the prepared pizzas; I had a white pizza with tomatoes and spinach. I thought it was good and tasty. The crust was not to thin and not to thick; just the way I like it. My husband had pepperoni and he seemed quite satisfied as well.

So is this a place for fine dining, or more than a quick bite? No, but it sure fit the bill of a quick bite.
