“Another Great Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

This was my 3rd stay and the staff was great, friendly, very informative. My room was beautiful, comfortable, clean, cozy did not want to leave. Great location can walk everywhere or a quick bike ride. The breakfast was wonderful and so much to choose from. Thank you for another great time I will be back.

I was really surprised by this bed and breakfast. I have traveled to a number of places and haven't stayed in a place that manages to balance the charm of a B&B with the elegance of a much larger hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed in the "Wood End" room and were surprised to see the number of amenities afforded us and still the room was quiet spacious for being one of several in an old style house. Not only that but the owner and staff where beyond pleasant and cordial. It was pleasure to talk to any of the staff and they always had great suggestions, not only for things to do in P town but in Boston as well. The White Porch in really went out of their way for us.

The location of the Guest House is fantastic, close to Commercial Street where all restaurants and Bars are. The Staff makes the intimate common areas very relaxing.
The Guest House includes breakfast which goes beyond the Continental style by adding a main dish every morning, such veggies and eggs, French toast, pancakes etc...
The rooms are comfortable and spacious.
I can't wait to come back..

This was our first trip to Ptown and The White Porch Inn was recommended by a friend. Other than the excellent location and the nice "house-boy", I would not recommend this Inn to anyone visiting Ptown. The rate was high (almost $400/night), our room was extremely small, the temperature in the room was unbearable requring us to sleep without covers for two nights, the breakfast was so-so, and the management team was not friendly. Although they had six parking spaces and only one was utilized by a guest, they charged us $10 so that our fiend could park there while we were out shopping. I had such high hopes but will certainly find another place to stay on future trips to Ptown.

Room Tip: Do not stay in the Highland.

We are sorry that your expectations were not met during your visit. We do try to do our utmost to ensure everyone is pleased during their stay. You did in fact book our smallest room over a holiday period which has a queen sized captains bed, flatscreen TV, Fireplace, full bath, refrigerator, and more. Larger rooms are available - some with private roof decks or porches. I have had the maintenance crew look into the air conditioning to make sure that if there are any issues with that room in terms of airflow that they are corrected quickly. As far as parking goes, we are very limited in terms of spaces and have more rooms then parking. As a results, since we don't always know in advance how many spots are needed, our policy is not to provide public parking for persons not staying on site. Public parking offsite ranges from $25 to $35. To accommodate you and your friends, an exception was made.

Staff anticipated our needs and were very friendly. The two bedroom was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, nicely appointed and close to the center of town. We are looking forward to our return next year!

My partner and I have been coming to Ptown every year for the past 27 years, and have chosen to stay over the past several years at the White Porch. This year was no different, other than the fact that we chose the White Porch to host our wedding. They did an amazing job with very little advanced notice...handling every detail with perfection. Needless to say, we've already decided to return again next year. Breakfast was delish. The location is perfect..just a block from the Wired Puppy..a block in the other direction for Farlands..and an easy bike ride to everything else of interest. Thanks Tom, Dale, & staff for yet another enjoyable stay.

From the minute we arrived we felt at home. Dale and his team were fabulous. We were part of a party - three couples- and nothing was too much for the team. The breakfasts varied everyday and we celebrated my birthday with blueberry pancakes. My favourite!! Our room - Long Point Light-was spacious and very clean with sunshine streaming in.
Dale and Brendan's suggestions for meals and sights were perfect.
We have stayed at a number of inns in P'town and we keep returning to the White Porch for all of the reasons listed above! The Inn definitely is part of the complete Provincetown experience.
