“The real reason to visit Ptown!”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

My partner Jesse and I love everything about Ptown but what makes every trip perfect is The Secret Garden Inn and it's lovely host Michael. Words can not explain the hospitality and kindness. It is charming, clean, adorable, and just plain fun! The garden is amazing the rooms are amazing and there is just no way you can go wrong here. If you pass is up you will regret it~!

Room Tip: All rooms are unique and each of them offers something.

A most wonderful place to stay in Provincetown! Everything one expects of a great accommodation (or at least hopes for) is provided here: cleanliness, cozy rooms, charming interior design, good breakfast, central location, quiet nights, great courtyard, really good prizes... I don't find words to top the previous enthusiastic reviews; they all came true in our own stay!
What is most unusual compared with other accommodations is the welcoming friendliness and hospitality of Michael, the host. He is charming, radiates positive energy, is always attentive, cares for your needs without being obtrusive; he just finds the perfect balance for each individual arriving at his door. My partner and I came to Provincetown having had just decided to marry and were much in love. As we left we were even more so because of Michael! We had the great situation to be the only guests (staying there three nights in the week before Memorial Day and before start of the season) and thus Michael's full attention. He talked us through some of the great decisions we were facing (wedding bands...) and we will forever remember these three days at his.

Room Tip: Captain's Quarters is the only room with private bath and has a Full size bed (other rooms have...

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Captain's Quarters for three nights during Memorial weekend. Our host, Michael, was absolutely charming from the first moment we spoke to him and was so excited to share his lovely inn with us! The room itself was beautifully decorated, cozy and very comfortable for the two of us. I wish I could turn our bedroom at home into the Captain's Quarters! The rest of the inn is warm, and absolutely darling! It is located right next to the center of Provincetown so we had easy access to everything, but the inn was set back enough from Commercial Street that you don't hear a thing! Breakfast consisted of fresh juice, coffee and tea as well as oatmeal and muffins still warm from the oven, but we always went down for the last couple of minutes that breakfast was served so there would have been more had we not slept in so long. We definitely won't be staying anywhere other than the Secret Garden Inn whenever we travel to Provincetown again!

My husband and I ran in the P-town 10K 2 weeks ago and stayed 2 nights. Michael was the best host we have ever encountered in P-town. He made us feel so welcome and was extremely helpful to us. The gardens were beautiful and had a great room(sea pebble). We wish we could have stayed longer! We'll be back.

We loved the Secret Garden Inn! Our room was perfect- cozy, bright and comfortable, with a door out to a very cute deck with a view of the water and the pilgrim monument. We were a little wary of the shared bathroom, but we never had to wait, and everything was always immaculate. Micheal, the innkeeper is great- welcoming, accommodating, and always good for a laugh. He set us up with a great reservation at Sal's Place, where we had a really incredible dinner. Our weekend at the Secret Garden Inn was PERFECT, and we won't stay anywhere else when in Provincetown.

My Partner and I stayed here in late September for 3 nights. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters, which is a cosy en suite room in the eves of the house. What made our stay was our host Micheal. A really nice guy, who made us very welcome, got everyone chatting at breakfast and gave us loads of local info. Not the plushest room or biggest bathroom you'll ever see but certainly the best B&B we've ever stayed in! We visited Provincetown outside of the main season but there was loads to do, plenty of places to eat and the beaches go on for miles. I'd defiantly recommend renting a bike to explore the dunes, available just across the road from the B&B.

My wife and I travel to Cape Cod every year and love PTown. When a scheduling problem occurred with another B&B, Michael stepped right in and made sure we had a place to be. The place is stunning and immpecably clean. Everything is top end and made to make you feel like you are home. Michael is a great host, perfectly balancing between "We will do anything and everything for you" and "Enjoy PTown and I will stay out of your way". One block off of Commecial Street, walk to everything that is great. Quintessential PTown.
