“Relaxing stay in a fantastic cottage”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

My wife booked us here for a 4 night stay and we absolutely loved it. We brought our 2 dogs with us and stayed in the cottage and had plenty of room. Everything looks like it is out of a home design magazine, from the soapstone counters to the built-in seating area. One of the owners, Lyn, showed us around and even helped with our bags and directed us where to park. We loved the easy access to the beach, pet friendly of course, and at low tide you can walk quite far out. The cottage has everything you need for a great stay, just pick up a few gourmet items at Perry's Market and relax on your private patio. Our stay was very relaxing and made us feel like we had been gone for a few weeks rather than a few days. I would not hesitate to stay here again, if possible I'd try to book the Boathouse if available as that is just as well done & appointed.

Room Tip: Book very early in the year

I rented in Ptown for 20 years before finally buying a place and I must admit...I miss Labrador Landing! Whether you stay in the cottage or the boathouse, Labrador Landing offers the Best Water Views, MOST Luxurious, best appointed and meticulous accomodations that Provincetown has to offer. If you expect the best, Labrador Landing does not disappoint. Sparkling clean, exceptionally well appointed from the cappucino/coffee makers to the state of the art ipod docking stations and high speed internet not to mention the A/C (seldom needed because they have screens on doors and windows so we could enjoy the evening breezes and sound of the lapping bay waves). The sheets and towels are off the charts high end. Not to mention the original artwork and exceptionally appointed kitchen. When was the last time you rented a gorgeous waterfront unit that also offered free kayaks and pristine life jackets along with brand new coolers if you want to pack a picnic. This is it folks--the pen-ultimate Ptown rentals. It was such a treat to walk a few minutes each morning to Relish to enjoy homemade baked goods and incredible coffee! A few minutes more and your in the center of the action. It's so great to have parking too since it's tough to come by in the West End. We love this place, it's the ultimate in Ptown!

Room Tip: The Boathouse is right on the water (the water literally laps under it at high tide). The Cottage is...

As frequent visitors to Provincetown and the owners of an older dog, we are always looking for dog-friendly accommodations. Only a small fraction of P-town rentals take dogs, and most of them are not well maintained. Labrador Landing was paradise for us because it was right on the water, located in our favorite part of P-town, and was just a beautiful, immaculate space. This part of the West End is super cute and not noisy. About a 5-10min walk to the beginning of "the action."

We stayed in the Boathouse, which is cozy, as are all rentals in P-town. At low tide you have a private beach. At high tide, the water comes under your deck, which is HUGE. The facilities and furnishings are great. We wanted for nothing. Even had a dishwasher and cappuccino maker! Plus wifi, cable TV x2 (which we never used), wired speakers, A/C, kayaks, grill, umbrellas, nice beach towels -- the works. Just pack your bathing suit!

We've stayed at over half a dozen places in P-town, and this was by far the nicest. Kudos to Lyn! We'd stay here with or without a dog, by the way. Of note, the two other units on the property access the water via the Boathouse deck, so be sure your dog is okay with strangers.

Room Tip: Boathouse is right on the water, Cottage is set back a little but still nice views.

We stayed here for a week in late September with our yellow lab and had a wonderful experience. We rented the boat house which had 1 bedroom, a loft, 1 bath, and an open living room kitchen. It was very clean and had all of the amenities that you would need to stay a week (full kitchen, washer/dryer, Bose sound system, comfy furniture, tons of deck space, a parking spot (boathouse only), very comfy beds, fast wifi, cable, and awesome views of the bay. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the center of own (restaurants, clubs, shops), which we did twice a day. There are times when you can walk your dog off leash while on the beach and the town is very pet friendly.
You get what you pay for!

What a WONDERFUL place to be! The location was amazing and the Boathouse was appointed with everything a person could need. Even a fantastic coffee bar. Being new to PTown, Lyn was helpful, kind, and had great ideas for the type of things we wanted to explore. The dogs were in heaven. We traveled with one Labrador and one Yorkie and the Lab still wants to know when we're going back. (The Yorkie is waiting for another sunset umbrella drink) We will definitely return! Another item to note - we went right before Memorial Day, just when the merchants were fully stocked and ready for the summer. It was a GREAT trip!

I have been coming to Provincetown for 15 years and can certify that the Boathouse at Labrador Landing is a jewel. The owner has taken great pride in every detail from respecting the building's original personality, to interior design & decoration, to quality appliances, to top-line linens and teak patio furniture. It is exceptional to find a rental in Provincetown where the owner really cares so much about those enjoying the property for only a short time (I stayed one week).
The Boathouse is quaint and charming. Every inch of space is intelligently used and every promise of amenities was met. The unit is historic, luminous and calm - the essence of authentic P-town. And yes, you really do hear the waves lapping under your feet as the tide rolls in. Worth every penny.

I have stayed in a number of guest-houses in Provincetown; The Cottage at Labrador Landing is better than every one of them.

Cleanlieness was meticulous; the views from inside and outside are incredible; the location is fabulous; Lyn was very helpful (hopefully we'll see you again soon!); and the size was perfect for the two of us. I agree with another poster about the attention to detail: nothing in P-Town compares to it: modern reading lights attached to the bed; a complete "Guide to Provincetown" which was informative and very helpful; a hanging chalk board for notes; free sea kayaks to use; and a Lavazza Cappuccino maker (complete with Lavazza coffee)!

The Air Conditioner kept us cool during the day. At night, however, we turned it off and opened the doors and windows, which are equipped with modern screens.

The outside area was great too; a quaint private patio opening to a shared deck complete with a gas grill, loungers, and a large dining table. The deck has a staircase that walks down to the beach/bay below, offering some breath-taking views of "Lands End." I enjoyed sunbathing in the loungers during the day, and relaxing in them under the stars at night.

The location is excellent: On the water in the West End, private, and close to all of P-Town's main attractions.

No more guest-houses for us; we'll be returning to Labrador Landing! Thanks again for a wonderful P-Town experience :)
