If you are visiting the cape this summer, go and enjoy a chance with a great Captain and his crew out on the Ocean to see 5 different kinds of Whales. This was one of the best whale watches i have ever been on. The ride out to the spot where the Whales are is a bit long but it is worth it in the end. We were able to encounter 5 different types of Whales this past weekend!! What a great time. I advise anyone to go even with young kids!!

Breathtaking, we took the kids and our parents out to see the whales, we all had a fantastic time. The sun was shining, remember the sun cream!! A bit cold in the wind as the boat goes quite fast, take a windshield. The whales put on a great show for us the humpbacks are huge but so graceful. All the staff onboard were very informative and friendly, a must do on a vacation to the Cape.

Our whole trip to Provincetown was to see some whales. We spent an hour getting to a good spot and then after a half hour wait, we finally did see some minke and humpback whales. It was very exciting to watch these majestic creatures. It was too bad we only saw them for a short time but it was definitely exciting while it lasted.

This is our second time to the tour. This visit we were staying in Boston but drove the 2 ½ hours to do the whale watching from Provincetown for 2 reasons. Our previous experience years ago was AMAZING .. we saw several whales breech and one whale even jumped up and splashed us. Secondly we read that leaving from Boston was worse for motion sickness and wanted to avoid puking on our trip. We were there sunday may 12th. CALL FOR A RESERVATION AND CALL TO CONFIRM TIME OF DEPARTURE. THEY DO VARY DUE TO WEATHER!!!!!!! they left an hour early the previous day and it's lucky we called before making the 2 1/2 hour drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This trip was good but not exceptional like the previous visit., definitely worth doing and a good value. We saw around 10 whales but just their nose and tail .. No breech or at least I missed it. They pop up so fast my pictures aren’t great but was still fun. I stayed on top of the boat on the way out to get lighthouse photos but they aren’t kidding when they say how cold it is out there. I had layers and a hood but could have used winter coat, gloves and scarf.
On the return trip a man puked in the aisle and unfortunately a baby in a stroller was in that area with all wheels locked so the mom was unable to move the stroller out of the way. You’d think the guy would have went and got some fresh air or to the bathroom. We felt horrible for the young couple and the baby … the crew gave him stuff to clean up a bit but he just set there and made the crew clean up his mess and the mess on his shirt …. Ughhhhh. Good crew … but they need rubber gloves for such issues.

There are no guarantees that you will see anything but we spent an hour and a half surrounded by up to 30 Humpbacked Whales feeding in coordinated pods. The sort of thing you normally only get on television documentaries, a fantastic and informative experience. Well done to onboard expert who spotted and commented throughout.
