“Awesome Tour!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

This experience was wonderful!!!! The boat is huge and there really is no bad seat on the boat. The crew does a wonderful job of circling around the whales and making sure you see them. We saw so many whales on our tour. Just remember if you are prone to sea sickness take your medicine with you cause you do a lot of waiting in the same area bouncing around watching the whales. But if you are like me I was to excited about the whales to worry about my stomach. Dont miss this tour it is SOOOOO worth the money!

“Exciting and Informative”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

My husband and I took the 4:00 ride and it was amazing! Super informative and we saw at least a dozen humpback whales as well as some minke whales. We even saw a mola mola, which are apparently not seen very often. We got several great pictures and were simply in awe watching the humpbacks. As a bonus, we got the sunset over the water on the trip back.

“Did not disappoint!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

Friendly crew with a knowledgable naturalist on board. Explained a little history of area of Provincetown, the geology, information about whales, the research that has been conducted, info on some of the families of whales, birds that we saw without being too overwhelming. They approached the area of whale activity cautiously and did not aggressively chase them but instead the whales seemed to come to us! The Host directed us to look "at 8 o:clock" at 2:oo but with whales on both sides it really didn't matter what side you were on. It was easier to move back and forth from side to side on the "main" floor and if the whales are right there, you just can't get much closer! but also it is nice to be in the sun up top. The smell of deisel is pretty rough on the main floor at the back and it is noisy such that you can't hear the commentary. Although it was a very calm and sunny day when we went, you have to count on it being a lot cooler on the water. We took a "gravol" before going - was told there is dramamine at the coffee shop if you forget yours.

“Whale Watching”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

This trip is well worth taking, we were so up close and personal with 14 humpback whales, 1 minke whales and seals. There were many mothers, with calves. They were eating, playing, jumping, swirling and spraying us with their blow holes. They swam under the boat and came up so close to us we could almost touch them. Nature is so amazing, we are so glad we choose to see these wonderful creatures in the wild instead of captivity. The Dolphin Fleet people were wonderful and truly informative. Great crew, lots of fun.
